I'm new to this particular brand and I have to admit that I wonder how long I have been living under a rock with regards to Ecco shoes. I did not purchase these shoes from Amazon, but I felt that after my experience with my pair of Fusion Mocs that they were worth writing a review for.

For those already familiar with the Ecco brand, you can just go ahead and skip this paragraph, but feel free to continue reading anyways. Ecco is a brand that I researched and discovered that it has come about from a man in Denmark. According to the story, one day he just got fed up with painful feet from wearing shoes that your "feet had to conform too" and felt that shoes should be conforming to your feet; thus, the brand was born on the premise that comfort takes priority over fashion, but that isn't to say that Ecco shoes are ugly or anything. In other words, these shoes are MADE to be comfortable and that my friend is something the brand adheres too.

As I had mentioned earlier, I bought this shoes elsewhere - an actual shoe store to be exact - and I am glad that I did because having a shoe professional fit you with a shoe of this type I feel is pretty important. I normally wear 10.5 or 11, but in my case the associate had me go one size down. After putting the pair on, he told me that I should be feeling some compression and that is to be expected and it should be this way. He also pointed out that when I tried my regular size that "bumps" from the gaps in the shoe were forming because they were too big. Anyways at the size I had gotten my feet will truly break them in and the shoe will conform to my feet. This can take a week or two to happen, but it can happen in a few days too.

I have to say that each passing day the shoes become more and more comfortable. It is almost as if they are "Aging" like fine wine does. This was quite surprising for me. I often forget entirely that I am wearing shoes as well and that they absorb shock extremely well. These are quite casual so they'll go with anything like khakis or denim, for example.

I would recommend that you get some cedar shoe trees for these if you haven't got any yet. They will help absorb the moisture that the leather collects from your feet throughout the day and extend the life of your shoes as well as preventing/slowing any creases from showing in the leather.

Lastly, I see a quite a few reviews (on ecco shoes in general) mention that eccos last a long time and they are replacing theirs. I don't understand why people are doing this. It is true that I find many saying they have pairs that last 5+ years and then proceed to say they are getting a pair to replace their first. Ecco has a contract with a company called NuShoe that will, for a fraction of a new pair's cost, resole your shoes and other services to bring your shoe "back to life" - think refurbishing. This way you get to keep the comfort system that you created with the shoes over all those years. Something to keep in mind with the Ecco brand down the road should you get any of their shoes.

I hope this review has helped. I will update this review should any changes occur and perhaps down the road just for updates. I know some may think "Oh the shoes I got are comfortable". Trust me if you have been buying shoes from department stores or walmart all your life, you haven't truly experienced comfortable shoes yet. These are worth the price you are paying. Not only that these shoes will last much longer than those pairs you have to replace every 1-2 years, so in the long run you'll be saving money.

Nice shoes and very comfortable, but color is different from what you see in the picture. The "mineral" color is more like "coffee" or something, not so "yellow" as the picture shows. Anyway, it's a nice shoes. Global super saver shipping to Singapore is very money-saving but really takes a long time. BTW, shipping by UPS is really suck.

总而言之,好鞋,穿着很舒服,但是有色差,更倾向于咖啡色那种,没有图中的那么棕黄色。

I ordered these shoes yesterday and they arrived today. This is my sixth pair of ECCO shoes, and I will be hard pressed to go back to any other brand. This order replaces a six-year old pair of Seawalkers that I wore nearly every day (including a two-week vacation to Europe). That pair held up exceptionally well, as did my other pairs of ECCOs. The only minor gripe I have for this order is the shoe color is much darker than the depicted image. I am ok with it, but I was expecting the color to be more tan. The actual color is closer to chocolate. But as soon as I put them on all my reservations disappeared, as they fit perfectly (I order a half-size smaller than my US shoes and they seem to fit better). I highly recommend ECCO for comfortable, breathable shoes. I also am pleased with the shipping speed of this vendor and the delivery condition. The price, while still a bit steep, is much better on Amazon than any of my local stores. All in all this was a very enjoyable purchase.

This is my fifth or sixth Ecco pair of shoes, and the first in two or three years. I had hesitated to get another Ecco because the prior two had proven big disappointments in that the soles had deteriorated much too early in their lives. Those uppers are still in great condition, but the shoes are useless otherwise. This Fusion Moc pair looks and fits great. I especially like the attractive, fine stitching which I hope wears well. I wear 10.5 and I need shoes that are cut at least a little wide. These are just wide enough, though not generously so. The soles have a surprisingly good grip and earned these Ecco oxfords their fifth star. I will update this review if these soles also deteriorate prematurely, but I am enjoying these now and look forward to walking in them them a lot now that spring is arriving, if ever-so-slowly.

I've been buying and wearing ECCOs for the past 30+ years (6 pairs). They last a long, long time: I use the old ones as hiking and garden shoes and the two newer pairs for everything else. The new ones don't look or feel exactly the same as the originals, but then, neither do I. But, they are still very, very comfortable. I have had no, zero, zip problems with the soles separating or anything wearing out exept the laces. My current pair, the casual "Fusion Moc Oxford" seemed just a bit tight at first but loosened up very quickly and feel great (give the new ones a chance before giving up on them).

It fits "as expected" only because I went to a store and tried them on before purchasing on the internet. I normally where 8.5 and had to order the 7-7.5 size. The "mineral" color is not very descriptive. Appears more tan-brown, but is darker and duller in color.

Having said that, I am pleased with the shoe. Very comfortable first tie on. Toe-box roomy and comfortable. Nice in appearance for a casual shoe. This model not for dress.

I've been wearing ECCO's for years now and will probably continue for rest of my life. If not for these shoes I would likely not be on my feet as often as I am. Job requires that I am on my feet for most of day. Thank you ECCO
The ONLY issue I have with these shoes is the price tag. I am sure that these shoes are made for far less than is justified by the $ 150.00 to $200.00 price. Try to work on that will ya?

The special ECCO Comfort Fibre System Cushioning make them easy to wear all day. I have several ECCO shoes and these run a little large. ECCO 9-9.5 = 9.5-10 in other brands. But once you know your ECCO size the shoes fit great and size stays true with each different style. Can be worn with slacks for work or jeans for fun. Would highly recommend these for anyone who needs a comfort shoe.

These have rapidly become my very favorite shoes. The provide excellent support and are remarkably comfortable. Also, they can be work either at casual or at semi-dressy events. Great shoes. ECCO's only problem is that you can't resole them, but these soles are pretty hard, and I believe they'll be durable.

I have been wearing ECCO shoes for over 15 years but this last pair wore through the bottom outside soles within 7 months. I tried emailing the merchant here with no response, now I'll be returning them directly to ECCO for warranty consideration. I sure hope they fix the problem as my old ECCOs used to last for years with no trouble.
