The Austin plain toe oxford was made to be a friendly shoe. It has a leather sock lining with foam padding underneath the insole and a one-component leather outsole with an injected shock point. This shoe can also be worn the without the insole for extra width, if you need it. A very airport friendly shoe that can be worn with business casual clothes or suits.

Smooth leather upper in a dress oxford style, with a rounded toe, dual stitched seam bicycle style front detail, and side stitching accents. Four eyelet lace up front, cushioned collar and tongue. Soft fabric lining, cushioned vegetable tanned leather topped comfort insole. Variable width fit system. Ecco Light flexible midsole with Shock Point heel cushion, and a traction patterned outsole.

The sizing really wasn't true. I usually wear the size I ordered, but they stretched out dramatically, even after re-lacing. I wish they fit better because I really do like how they look and they were comfortable when they fit well. I would recommend ordering one or one-half size smaller that what you usually wear. Wish I did...

This is a fair dress shoe. They leave wrinkles toward the front of your feel from walking. But classic and comfortable at the same time.
