Ecco Men's Cerro Sport Sandals proves to be a very comfortable and well made pair of sandals, geared for walking, hiking and trekking if needed to. The soles are quite aggressive and it grip very well in all kind of terrain. It tracked well in slick mud as well as in water. The material is soft, supple and basically waterproof. This model gear well for people with medium to wide foot. I haven't develop any hot spots or sore spots after using this sandals for a while. It amazingly fitted perfectly for someone like me who got wide, low arch feet (I wear EE wide.). The sandal provides pretty good protection all around. The toe guard prevent anything nasty from sticking into your toes or any part of your fore foot. By look, it will remind you of Keen sandals but there is a back-strap that Keen do not have and that extra adjustment make the sandals more easier to fit. The footbed is not removable but they can be clean by hand. One pull tab tighten the sandals which make it quite simple to put on and adjust. The tongue is also pretty nice and soft. I used this sandal basically for hiking purposes and it does that function very well. It is not a very light sandal however but serves as a nice alternative to low cut hiking shoes. Overall, I would considered it to be a definite improvement over the Keen sandals of which, it resemble quite closely.

Of course, buying the proper size would help when ordering through mail. The sizes intent to lean on the smaller scale. What I mean is if you wear a size 10.5 like I do, buy a size 11 to be on the safe side instead of size 10 which may be too tight due to my width of my feet. Person with medium width may do well with 10 unless you got a high arch and you may need a 11. (All based on 10.5 size.)

Note: I notice that there is another Ecco sandals called Terra VG Fisherman and it looked exactly like Cerro Sport. I am not sure if Ecco have reissue the same sandal under an another name but anyone interested can check it out.

This sandal is worth every penny of its price. I bought this pair and received it just days before I left for Hawaii. In Oahu, this sandal is at home to hiking the Diamond Head Crater, walking downtown, and strolling on the beach. It feels like your feet are floating with every step because of its proprietary EPRO40 and RECEPTOR TECH. sole. In the Big Island, I went hiking to volcanic rocks inside the Volcano National Park and it sure exceeded my expectations that fit expensive hiking shoes. The stability and the structural support, anatomical comfort insole, toe guard, and the easy on/off back strap combined for excellent light hiking sandals in moderate terrain. I could not be happier with these comfort buddies.

Great quality one comes to expect from Ecco. I wear a size 10 dress shoe and 10.5 tennis shoe. Unfortunately these shoes in a size 43 were too big. I also ordered a set of Keen Newport's in a size 10 which fit perfect. Had the Ecco's been a half size smaller I would have kept those because I liked the look of them better.

First of all, these shoes are not gray, even though the color was called "Dove". They are a taupe color and go with everything in my husband's closet. Second, they are very cushioned inside and have a great arch support. I'm so glad he ordered them. Shoes this great are difficult to find.

Very durable, stylish and very comfortable. Went hiking in these a few times and absolutely loved the gip and support these provided. I have already recommended these to multiple people.

Great looking sport sandal. ECCO is one of my favorite shoe companies so I knew quality, fit, and function were not issues I had to concern myself with. This is an excellent company and once again a high quality pair of shoes. They were thankfully not as white as the Amazon picture suggested, a pleasant surprise sense a too-light colored sport sandal was something I dreaded might be high maintenance to fight the onset of a dingy appearance. Not to worry, these are more gray than white and therefore won't cause me agony of worry that they may get some scuffs etc. Who wants to be overly conscious of sports sandals, they aren't leather Allen Edmond dress shoes.

I first bought this shoe/sandal (Shandle) 2 years ago. In the spring to the first snow this is what I wear. I have logged over a thousand miles on these puppies and they still are in great shape. The tread is holding up great, it's as good as a michelin tire. The only reason I'm buying a new pair is for the color change. The wife says a little diversity is good. Seriously, a great shoe!
