Feels as Great as They Look,

Like most other shoes by ECCO, the Classic Hydromax were ready to wear for 18-holes from the beginning and took little to no time to break in. They run slightly wider than average with a true length. The sole has a fair amount of flex but provides plenty of support in the arch. The cushion is OK - could probably use a little more padding. The outsole is a smooth leather like any quality dress shoe. It appears to have been treated but I applied a waterproofer prior to my first use. After playing several rounds with these I am now hooked. I can see why these are the only golf shoes my boss will buy.
I have become a big fan of ECCO shoes over the last several years so this review may be a little biased. But my bias is not without reason - ECCO consistently makes quality, comfortable shoes that look and feel great. Being able to buy them far below retail when on special at Amazon makes me consider them the best deal in footwear. |
