I purchased my first pair of ECCO BIOM shoes a couple years ago. The top end yak skin model and loved it. I own the white/blue, black/brick, brown/orange, and gray/yellow. They are extremely comfortable and I love that I can wear them to and from golf (I even drive in them). I also always wear long pants and the more "sneaker" like look isn't ideal - especially after they're a year or two old and have water stains and scratches. I have played with the Tour Hybrid shoe twice. They nearly as comfortable - a tradeoff for providing more support. And, of course, they look much better with long pants - much more like a serious golfer than a guy that shows up to the TPC in cargo shorts and sneakers.

For anyone concerned that the spikeless sole will not offer enough grip, I have only slipped once in about 100 rounds. I was playing in a scramble and (as we often do) was trying to get another 20 yards out of my drive on a wet day.

Shoes are nice but fit is a little long;maybe 3/4". Insole, as a result, seems to create a lump near the fleshy pad behind the last two toes.

I've been wearing the modern spikeless shoes for years now. I'll never go back.

These shoes are a great hybrid, offering a fantastically formal and stylish look with the casual soles we all love.

They are a bit heavier and definitely stiffer than the casual shoes out there. Expect to have to break them in over at least 3-4 days. At first they are not comfortable, especially on the top of your foot. But as they soften up they get much better. I picked up a pair of slightly used here and saved some good money. I can understand why someone might return them, thinking they're not as comfortable, but they simply didn't give them enough time to break in. I wore mine around the house quite a bit and even then got blisters on my heals the first time out. But now they're fine.

They look professional and make me feel more confident. Seriously.

I found the hybrid not to be as comfortable as the cleated shoe. Why, I don't know except the sole of the shoe seemed thinner. I also have a concern with the longevity of the shoe. What do you do when the nobs wear short after repeated walks across asphalt and concrete? Does the shoe then convert into a dress shoe, or can you have them resoled? This is my second pair of Ecco's. I feel as though I have taken a step back by getting the hybrids. The quality of the shoe met my expectations, its the level of comfort that concerns me.

These are the best shoes I have put on my feet. It had a neutral arch, lightweight, and is made for walking in. Whether it be 18 holes on the course out 18 laps around the office, the ecco tour hybrid will not let you down n

Expensive but if these ECCOs hold up as the other 10 pair I have bought, they'll last. Especially since I don't wear them every day (a couple times a month if I'm lucky). Fit is exactly as "regular" ECCOs, so they are true to size for me.

I have had great experience with Ecco golf & dress shoes for many years. This is my first pair of golf shoes without soft spikes. It's the only brand that my orthotics inserts alway fit well.

I presently own 7 pairs of ECCO (dress, casual, sandals) and they are all 42 and fit fine, except for one pair of casual, which fits a little large. It was the same with these golf shoes; a little large. I sent them back and ordered a size 41-they fit like a golf glove, the support is great and I get plenty of traction to keep my busy feet still.
