I got a pair of these from Ecco directly as a replacement. I do a lot of outdoor work logging, splitting, tractor, hiking. These are the best boots i have ever owned. They are pricey but I think they are worth it. Better than even the high end Wolverines or Doc Martins I have tried. They feel like slippers but are tough as nails. I wear them all day even in the summer. You could really do anything in these boots. Comfortable enough for long hikes but tough enough for every day labor. Ecco hit one out of the park with this boot.

Very well made boot that is comfortable right out of the box. The materials that make it that way are soft leather, so the only down side to this boot is that it will not tolerate strong abrasive use. The leather will scuff deeply. The Ecco boot is not a real rock climber in that sense , but is an all around, excellent daily normal use boot for a gentleman. This is my second pair of this boot, the first one lasted several years and was my favorite for motorcycle use due to its flexibility. The traction of the sole is average on snow and ice.

This is my third pair. I have searched for and tried many others, but always end up returning them and go back to the ECCO Track. I wear them to work( delivering bottled water to homes and offices), hiking and camping as well as to church. The Black boots clean up very nicely. I also own the tan shoes, although after 7 years it is time to replace them. The price is high, but for a waterproof, shock absorbing, extremely comfortable and flexible boot or shoe it can NOT be beat. It is hard to find them at the retail stores, but Nordstroms usually has them.

I have been a lover of ecco shoes and boots for years . This pair is keeping a pair just like these in black company. I am very hard on my boots and these have stood up to every thing I have put them through and they still look good .comfort is great and wet surface traction is good. You will not be sorry with this product.

Great comfortable shoes. HOWEVER CAVEAT EMPTOR the soles wear poorly. I unfortunately have had these soles fail a year later. You can't get this resoled with the polyurethane soles, for a $100 you get a Vibram sole complete different dynamic to the polyurethane sole.

Ecco is totally unresponsive to this problem they are aware of.

Good fit, extremely comfortable, and uppers are durable, the soles are horrible deteriorating prematurely and creates ma ess. So if you are willing to pay the price for a sole which will last a year they are great otherwise they are a mistake. Good luck.

This shoes ARE NOT waterproof. I have walked in light rain for 200 meters and i got wet in my both foot.
Buying this shoes it's a mistake.

I have worn ECCO boots daily since 1993. I find that they are comfortable and durable. Throw in the fact that they are reasonably priced too. I have had this pair for a couple of years and I wear them DAILY. The boots are still going strong and still waterproof.

I had these shoes for about a month, and just as they were really becoming broken in, a two-and-a-half inch tear developed between the mid-sole and the bottom sole. I am pretty disappointed because I own three other pairs of ECCO shoes and they all have performed really well, so I was shocked that the sole failed so quickly.
