Great idea for golf shoes using non-laces, November 28, 2011
I bought these golf shoes for 2 reasons: the color and the unique tying system. The color was desirable for the fall and winter
months playing golf in wet and muddy weather.
The color and style are exactly as shown in the advertisement. The Velcro closure instead of laces would have been a great idea
if there was more velcro on the closing straps and shoe. Unfortunately I could not get the shoe tight enough on my foot to keep
it stableized. I do not have a narrow foot (I wear a medium width),so it should not have been an issue. Also, after wearing them several times,
I noticed that I needed to add a foot pad of some sort to cushion the foot. I could feel the spikes through the footbed of the shoe.
I used a gel insert and it has help a lot. But, after 18 holes of golf my foot is still sore (a bit )in the area of the balls of the foot on the outer edge.
There are not many choices for all black golf shoes for women on the market. I tried just about all of them that are sold online and in the
stores. Many ran small and narrow. This shoe was the best of those I tried as far as sizing and style were concerned.
I'll keep using them until I find something that works better and is more comfortable.
