5.0 out of 5 stars Readable Economic History, December 20, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: ECON TRANSFORM AMERICA,3E-VOLI-TO 1865+ (Paperback)
This is the best general history of the American economy that I have seen. I purchased it to get material for my college lectures and it is worth the money. Heilbruner and Singer summarize every development in economic life while explaining why these changes have occured. It is an exceptionally well-written book and even my history hating friend could not put it down.
