EFT recovery from maiming accident in 90 minutes.,

Do not hesitate to get this book. Do it now. I have achieved astonishing results with numerous grievous PTSD cases, some from seriously life-threatening traumas, including my own. I will supplement this review with substantive detail, when I have a chance. You will not regret this purchase. One word of advice: this work represents a new paradigm. Learn the practice AS CLOSELY AS POSSIBLE TO HOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE PERMITTED. There are important theoretical reasons to be fairly precise in following this advice. I misused (harmlessly but with only moderate success) EFT for 7 years before become an accomplished practitioner after a few weeks of diligent study.

Outstanding Resource,

This review is from: EFT for PTSD (EFT: Emotional Freedom Techniques) (Paperback)
I am a counselor who works with veterans with PTSD, using EFT primarily. This book is an outstanding reference for anyone working with these issues. It includes many different approaches and ideas. It has expanded my ability to help my clients and has given me fresh new insights. It's small enough to carry easily, and very well organized and written. No technical jargon, very clear. Highly recommended.

Amazingly gentle treatment for PTSD,

I am already a firm believer in EFT. I have used it successfully too many times to ever doubt this amazing technique can heal people physically and emotionally. This book just gives a new layer of understanding on how to apply it to PTSD. Those with PTSD may be skeptical and they may be extremely afraid to talk about long buried memories and emotions. This approach is the most gentle, and yet fastest, approach I have ever come across. I, myself, no longer have flashbacks after using EFT (something a year or more of therapy did not cure). Sometimes one minute miracles happen, and sometimes people need a slower approach to their own healing. But I firmly believe they will heal if they have an experienced and gentle practitioner and stick with this approach to healing. It seems unlikely that this simple approach to healing could possibly work, but it truly does! I have used it to heal post-surgical pain without medications, to stop an asthma attack in 2 minutes, to heal a blood red sore throat in less than ten minutes, to heal a toothache that the person thought was in need of a root canal in one session, to be free of intrusive memories from the past, to calm anxiety, to overcome sadness, grief and anger. The list goes on and on! Don't be blinded by the simpleness of this technique! It really works! Andrea, Utah

Experience using EFT for a rape,
By
This review is from: EFT for PTSD (EFT: Emotional Freedom Techniques) (Paperback)
This book is about using Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) for PTSD. I have personally seen miraculous results using EFT for neutralizing traumatizing memories. One of my most memorable experiences was using EFT to help a rape victim. This poor lady was having severe nightmares about her rape. Counseling had not seemed to help her. We did EFT for 90 minutes, and were able to neutralize the horror of her rape. These memories of her rape remained neutralized until her death 2 years after our EFT session. EFT is miraculous. In my opinion, Gary Craig, the founder of EFT, deserves a Nobel Peace Prize!

One of the Most Effective Approaches to PTSD Available...,
By
This review is from: EFT for PTSD (EFT: Emotional Freedom Techniques) (Paperback)
This book is one of the best gifts you may ever buy yourself, whether you are a clinician, a person who suffers from PTSD, or both. It is thorough, well organized and skillfully written. Even if you are skeptical, try this approach earnestly for awhile. You will then see why people all over the world have been touched, inspired and healed by these seemingly simple "Emotional Freedom Techniques."
I can speak personally to the power of EFT with PTSD. That is because I faced a major life trauma. A few years ago, I was struck by a drunk motorcyclist in the middle of Bangkok, Thailand. I was there all alone, with broken bones, head injuries, and a sense of utter discouragement. On top of that, I was declared completely disabled and "unrehabilitateable." However, through my own consistent use of EFT, followed later by sessions with some highly skilled EFT Practitioners, I was able to recover and turn my life around. Today, as a Psychologist who has dedicated her life to finding the most helpful tools available to support my client's healing, I am amazed at the transformations that I am honored to witness daily, both in myself and my clients, through the use of EFT. Okay now, I realize...your initial response may be that EFT sounds "too good to be true." It did to me too. So here's one helpful clue...Your logical mind may have a difficult time being convinced that such an unusual and easy to learn approach can work so effectively with painful and challenging issues. But the good news is, your "logical mind" doesn't have to be convinced...it is welcome to wait and see. You see it's not your logical mind, but more your "emotional brain" (the limbic system) that will be accessed and changed through this approach. So TRYING IT OUT, rather than trying to FIGURE OUT whether it's worth trying, is the way to go. Your EXPERIENCES will definitely convince you this is an approach worth learning and learning well. And this book will support you wholeheartedly. Blessings on Your Healing Journey!

This review is from: EFT for PTSD (EFT: Emotional Freedom Techniques) (Paperback)
As an EFT coach who specializes in helping Veterans and their families heal with EFT, I highly recommend "EFT for PTSD" to all my Veterans, in my classes and to everybody who wants to learn and deepen their knowledge and understanding about healing with this cutting edge technique.
This book is a top of the line handbook for anybody who is looking for new solutions for severe trauma. In addition to his own profound insights and never published background about the famous 6 days at the VA DVD, Gary Craig has invited EFT specialists from all over the country to tell their stories, share their experiences and teach profound and new material about how to help trauma victims heal with EFT. In easy to read and re-read language, "EFT for PTSD" offers insights and encouragement for Veterans and their families, rape and other trauma victims, as well as those who wish to help them. Clear, ethical boundaries for this work are also discussed, and profound insights given to use EFT as a self help tool.

Wonderful source for beginning or experienced EFT'ers and Psychotherapists,
By
This review is from: EFT for PTSD (EFT: Emotional Freedom Techniques) (Paperback)
"EFT for PTSD" is a wonderful addition to the PTSD literature. Not focusing on the theory or even the diagnosis of PTSD, this book quickly moves into a unique process for helping to heal PTSD. For those not familiar with EFT, this will be an odd-looking technique but well worth attempting. This is the most valuable technique I use in my work as a therapist of clients with chronic PTSD.
The main advantage of this book is it's concrete and replicatable technique. A refreshing relief to so many books on the topic which theorize or opine but do not spell out exactly what to do about PTSD. Although there is value in books which provide understanding, there is an even greater need for books such as this which provide the steps for healing. The steps are clearly spelled out and the book is well formatted to help either a therapist or someone with PTSD learn the steps accurately. The book then does a good job of helping those who are not getting progress to identify how to improve their healing. Overall, a well done and well laid out book for someone who is ready to take steps to heal. Additionally, a wonderful guide for a therapist or counselor who is looking for a source to develop competence in this extremely helpful technique. Buy it, study it, practice it, use it. It will be worth the effort.

Gary Craig's work with veterans is now in book form for all of us to read and learn from. PTSD affects war veterans and many others who have survived terrible experiences in their lives that are still causing them to live lives of quiet desperation filled with fears, addictions and broken relationships. As a licensed MFT I have helped numerous people to reclaim their lives using EFT to heal traumatic memories. This book offers information and hope. Buy it for yourself and give it as gifts to those you know who are still suffering.
