This is a very good book. It will help somebody implementing the system to think all things through. It does list some vendors available at that time. But now, there are more such vendors. I am an IT person who will be helping the clinics implementing the Clinic mgmt. and EHR system. This has given me a lot of points for discussion and improvements with the clinics.

for EHR implementations. I used this to get myself familiar with the process and then use this as a guidebook to work with hospitals to design the procedures that will fit their needs. Without this book, I wouldnt even know where to start!

there are certain uesless chapters, but overall is a great book!

This is by far the best publication for EMR implementation if you are needing help building a plan for your practice, I have used it over and over again.
