I practice karate & I wear glasses. This is not a happy combination - I spend too much time picking my glasses up off the mat. So I went out & bought a pair of sports goggles, they stay on but fog up something fierce. (My *opponents* like sparring with a blind man, though... ;-) For those who don't practice the Ancient Asian Art of kicking-below-the-belt: it is the *ultimate* workout. You sweat an unbelievable amount, making this a true stress test for anti-fog goop. I tried an old spray-on I use for my motorcycle face shield - but that did next-to-nothing to help.

I hit good ol' Amazondotcom & found the three highest-rated anti-fog products & tried them out on successive weeks.

NUMBER THREE is the artfully-named "Cat Crap" Ek Cat Crap Glass and Lens Cleaner It's a waxy substance, you smear it on & by the directions buff it until clear. But I don't know how to tell the difference between "buffing until clear" and "wiping it off." It did do better at mitigating the fogging problem than the old spray-on I had laying around. But it still didn't keep the lenses clear, either. Three Stars.

NUMBER TWO is Sea Drops McNett Sea Drops Anti-Fog & Lens Cleaner, (1.25 oz) This is a viscous fluid, you smear it on & let it dry, then buff. I buffed it just barely enough for the spots to disappear & tried it out. It worked "pretty good." My lenses didn't fog up, stayed mostly clear but by the end of class there was still a little spotting. Much better than the old spray-on, but still not quite as good as number one. Four Stars.

For my money, NUMBER ONE is Fog Tech.

I use it on my glasses inside a full face motorcycle helmet with a Pinlock face shield. On cold days (< 40 f), it does not prevent my glasses from fogging. Never need it at warmer temps.

I primarily use this stuff for my prescription safety glasses that I use on a construction site. I have only used it a handful of times because it simply isn't always necessary to use.

It takes a few minutes to apply the paste on my glasses and then wipe the excess off. After applying, I can see through the glasses perfectly and there is no noticable odor. The product seemed to seperate a little bit while in my toolbox, but the container was sealed enough to hold the moisture in the container. I would be hesitant to have this container in an environment where it may get crushed and/or tumble around.

Overall, this isn't an amazing product but it seems to do the trick. I only wish that I had a little more faith in the container not cracking open.

I bought this product to hopefully keep my sun glasses from fogging up while running or hiking in snowshoes. in a matter of minutes, fog started to appear on my lenses while running and even walking there was no relief. last time i buy this product, certainly not reliable. Somebody suggested that Fogtech was superior, i will use that next time.

I bought this product to treat my glasses that I need to wear under my paintball mask when I play. Wearing glasses under a mask when humidity, sweat, and respiration all conspire to make fog can be a chore, but this worked great for me. I applied it twice the first time I used it just to be thurough, and found it worked all day. I wore my glasses under my mask in 80 degree heat, mild humidity, while breathing heavily and sweating away in the woods and fields. I saw clearly all day. If you follow the directions, it will work.

I purchased this to use on my rec specs that I wear while playing Roller Derby. It greatly reduced the fogging of the lens but did not eliminate it. The product is safe to use on scratch resistant coated lenses. Just make sure you clean any particles of dirt off the lens before using.

Out in the field my eyepro can get a bit foggy, these did a pretty good job at preventing them from fogging up. You only need a little bit as the product says to cover the glasses.

It works just a described. Only a small amount is needed for your eyeglasses and they do not fog over.
