I am a professional card crafter, and I do put these types of punches through much use. I have many punches by EK Success, and they are all well made. This punch is no exception.

Blades. This particular punch cuts well and completely through the paper.
- Suggestion: For second and subsequent cuts along the same edge: Begin your cut with the punch sitting on a surface, don't hold the punch in your hands. Move the paper left or right slowly and smoothly or the paper gets caught up on the edges of the design inside the punch. This is, of course, due to the intricacy of the design. It does cut perfectly using this technique.

Paper weight. It performed better with thinner paper, but I it did cut up to my 65 lb paper. It did *not* cut my 110 lb paper, but most hand punches do not cut paper at that weight.

Versatile. I've used it as a long piece, and I've cut sections out to use them also; like corners of the card, or just as a curly-q design.

Locking: It does lock and unlock smoothly.

Suggestion I got from Martha: Cut wax paper to make cutting smoother or cut aluminum foil to sharpen the blades. I do both at regular intervals; sometimes more than once at a time. It does work!

This is a well-made sturdy edge punch that adds a lovely lacy edge to my hand-crafted cards.

When thet say "large," they mean it. The punched area is about 7/8" wide from the edge of the card or paper.

It's easy to line up the punch to create a longer decorative edge by repeating the punches. You can also punch along the edge of some paper or card stock, and the trim the punched edge about 1/8" from the punched area to make a 1"-wide "ribbon."

Easy to use, cuts cleanly, well worth the investment. Will likely purchase more of these EK Success Tools edgers.

I love this punch and it pairs quite nicely with the Cuttlebug A2 Embossing Folder, D'vine Swirls! I've used this punch as a border, a frame, and embellishment, it is very versatile!

The pattern is very lovely. The only problem I had was the paper was getting stuck when I tried to remove it once I punched the design in. The swirls would get caught.

This punch produces an elegant and crisp design. But if you' re a little handy with scissors you can cut out the scrolls and thus lose the edge strips. This gives the punch more versatility. I can see this design used as a vine or trellis, let your imagination run wild! Also don't limit youself to just edges, as pieces of the design make for nice corner flourishes!

This punch is beautiful and easy to use. My only complaint is that you can't leave a border on the edges if you want it to run the length (or width) of your card.

Absolutely gorgeous! Apart from the stunning design, which will enhance my cards beautifully, I basically love this brand, EK Success. They are strong and easy to use - never disappoint. They are my punch of choice, equally liked next to Martha Stewart.
