This is one of my favorite books. Writing it was like watching a very exciting movie. I just sat down at my computer each day, tuned in and observed the story unfold. And what a wild story! Since EL*AN*RA was published right after my book "The Star-Borne", it was a shock to some of my readers. I guess that they were expecting another inspiring book about the angels and the stars. So it has taken awhile to reach the audience it deserves. EL*AN*RA starts out sort of dark and heavy with the kidnapping of the angel Kurala by the spider people of Galaxitron and the subsequent arrival of the Dark Lords of Orion. Of course, then it starts to get funny. Thank heavens for humor, especially when you are writing about the devastation of the Intergalactic Wars and the constant interplay and subtle balance of dark and light! Anyway, it was a good test for my readers. Some people didn't even finish reading the book! But for those who did, and it's very easy and fun to read, there was a huge gift at the end. For the greatness of EL*AN*RA is that it turns the template of duality inside out. It's a powerful experience of liberation. Not only does it help us retrieve and then release our "off-planet" memories, but it sets us free from the limitations of our old duality-based reality system. I still read this book every year. Each time I read it, I have a powerful experience. I am profoundly transformed. EL*AN*RA is fun; it is a wild adventure; it is an unbridled love story and it will transform you and set you free! And of course, it would make a fantastic film.
