Complaints could lead
to limits, ban on electronic message boards

The New Mexican
City officials are looking to outlaw electronic messaging signs in the historic zones and restrict them elsewhere or -- in the alternative -- to ban them everywhere in Santa Fe.
The issue first arose over a year ago when a new sign with a electronic marquee -- with light-emitting diode or LED lights -- was erected at Genoveva Chavez Community Center.
