Book Description

Product Description

Even as the world takes gigantic steps in the fields of genetics, artificial intelligence and nanotechnology, Peter Thornton, the hapless hero of One Just Man, drifts farther and farther away from mundane reality. Yet, in spite of himself, he is drawn into the machinations of Solidarity International, the Sino-Indian Block and the American Coalition, competing for World Domination. In truly Stan Law's style, this book is both: a bold exploration of human potential, and an international thriller. As an added bonus, Peter, the hero of One Just Man, shows us the way to join him in the realm of man's ultimate destiny.

Law in 'Elohim' We witness the chrysalis of godhood growing to dimensions not yet dreamed of. 5.0 out of 5 stars Profound, Deep, Enlighteniing, Entertaining April 11, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
This book is so deep and profound that it is difficult to write a review that does it justice. Following up to the first book of this trilogy, Dr. Peter Thornton has been a recluse for a year, living with his sister, Ruth Thornton, and her two children, Moira and Jonathan. In Book 1 he was discovered to be a natural healer, beyond his abilities as an educated and trained physician, and because he had allowed himself to be called upon to heal the very poor and desperate without thought for himself, it broke his health and he has spent the past year asking himself, "Why me?" Winston Smith, combination major domo, butler, cook and nanny is always present to answer his questions, sometimes physically and many times through mental telepathy. Ruth Thornton is working under Lena Walesa of Solidarity International, together with Sino Indian Block and America to straighten the world out and eliminate war and suffering, but there is a strong wave against it, determined to destroy it. Dr. Catherine Mondellay, aka Cathy, helped Peter to recover his health and they are in love, but Cathy is as much devoted to being a physicist as being in love with Peter. She comes from a family of scientists and throughout the book, various modern scientific paths are discussed such as quantum physics, black holes, genetics, bionics, nanotechnology, all of them. The reader does not need to totally understand these different sciences because they are well explained.

Interspersed among these scientists and explanations of their field are deep philosophical and metaphysical discussions and Winston teaches Peter how to read auras and recognize his god self. This is a long book, but well written and there is enough romance and normal actions to keep the reader interested. I recommend this book for those who truly like to receive worthwhile information with their novels.

This book was given to me free by the author at my request.

5.0 out of 5 stars Riveting February 22, 2014

Much can be said about Elohim - Masters & Minions because of how packed the novel is. Stan I.S. Law is established as a go-to author for me. He never ceases to impress and amaze me with the dialogue and thoughts from our protagonist (also from One Just Man). With this book, we see that our setting has changed, and that lends an additional dynamic element to a plot that is already compelling as-is. You will be enamored with the highly sophisticated themes and commentary that reemerge at various moments of the novel.

I was hoping for things to come full-circle with this book in the trilogy - and it did! I felt so immersed and invested in Winston and Peter's personal development as well as how the supporting characters like Lena, Cathy, and others were instrumental. This is absolutely a book for avid readers who can handle such dense and riveting, impactful material.

5.0 out of 5 stars what a great read April 16, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
As a person, I'm a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to what kinds of stories I find interesting. I love romance, but I also love intrigue, mystery, conspiracy, philosophy, AND spiritualty.

Needless to say I was more than pleased to come across this series. Because these books have it all! Peter is a compelling main character (who was first introduced to us in Book 1, One Just Man, which I also read), and the path to self-discovery he is on is somehow wrapped into a plot that makes the whole journey of epic proportions.

If you like your fiction neat and tidy, without being too much 'out there', this series may not be for you. But if you love to be surprised, challenged, and entertained at the same time, prepare for one heck of a ride with this book!

As follow up to the first book in this trilogy, Dr. Peter Thornton once again takes center stage in what I feel is an astounding trilogy by Author / Master Storyteller Stan I.S. Law.

This book, much like the first has everything and more then you can imagine. There is Romance, Espionage, Mystery, Suspense, Multi Dimensional Character Development, and Spirituality all set on the foundation of self-discovery. With a romantic twist (that I was not expecting) other topics / elements also come into light: Quantum physics, genetics, bionics and even black holes to name a few can be discovered in a new way when reading this astounding book. I for one am a huge fan of science and am familiar these elements which perhaps is why I enjoyed the book as much as I did. The way Author Stan I.S. Law blends it all together to form an original and unique story is truly the work of a skilled author. This trilogy is becoming more and more captivating with every turn of the page. How will everything turn out for Dr. Peter Thornton is really the question that will be on my mind for the next couple of days?

All and all it took me three nights to put this one down from start to finish. If your looking for a quick, easy read that will have no impact on your life after you are done reading then look away from this book. However, if you are looking to sink your teeth into a profound, captivating read that will sweep you away and have you contemplating everything from love to the very essence of life, then order a copy of “ELOHIM-Masters & Minions, (Winston Trilogy Book Two, Sequel to One Just Man).”

In closing I will say that the understanding of man and gods will crash in an epic fashion that will have you smiling, laughing, crying and wondering what is going to happen next.
