An Emerald Earth is a sublime and inspired message from the depths of the mystical heart. Heaven and earth are integrated into a very alive spirituality that helps us find our roots in the earth and our source in heaven. The authors call forth the teachings of Sufism and Buddhism, along with many other spiritual traditions,so that we may once again hear the guidance of the illuminated masters of all ages. Through the practices offered by the authors we are guided to understand the spirit that powers our lives and illuminates our purpose on earth which is to realize the divinity in our humanity.

An Emerald Earth-Cultivating a Natural Spirituality and Serving Creative Beauty in Our World is a much needed catalyst to fuel the conversation around the spiritual unfolding that seems to be happening on a global scale and at an accelerated rate. This message is coming into my life at just the right moment. Norton and Smith pulled me in with the idea that it is time that we face our pain and heal ourselves to prepare ourselves for a more intelligent way of living. Many of society's ills seem to come from a place of wounded hearts as individuals. This book gives us an expanded world view and a solid sense of our ability to adapt and to choose our our own paths and to become the beings that we aspire to. As Pir Vilayat Khan puts the question 'And what if this life is a malleable and workable dream, which can be shaped, restored, and beautified by our intentions and actions?'
Each page feels a like an affirmation to buoy us through our own transformation as we do our work to heal and glow with the brightest light possible while we are here on this beautiful planet.
