The information and practice test really helped! Passed the first time with no problems. This book also has online resources such as other practice tests and supplemental information that is not in the book (such as a vocabulary review).

In my opinion this study guide was somewhat poorly written. The text in itself was informative, but the practice test contained mostly information left out of the text. I expected more out of this guide and was left wanting. Overall I didn't hate this product, but i wouldn't recommend it as a necessity for the National Registry. It was Okay.

I bought this study guide for my nephew who was going to take again the Basic Exam to become an EMT in the state of Ohio. He used this guide to study with and has taken the exam and passed.
