5.0 out of 5 stars EMT Gel 1.0 oz Tube
Item Review:

This is something every pet owner needs to have on hand in your pets first aid kit (you do have a pet first aid kit, right?). It is great for any type of cut, scrap or wound. 1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading advert!
The advert reads 'Emt Gel, 24 x 1oz'. This does not mean 24 tubes, there is only one! In addition, The cost for this one tube is higher than all the others (same compound and manufacturer) advertised on Amazon.com. My advice try elsewhere.

This is something every pet owner needs to have on hand in your pets first aid kit (you do have a pet first aid kit, right?). It is great for any type of cut, scrap or wound. It works for dogs, cats and I have also used it on my snakes. It is very sticky and dries to form a protective film which helps keep bacteria and dirt out of the wound to allow it to naturally heal. I compete in Schutzhund and our dogs must climb, jump and can easily get a cut or scrape. I have used this to treat a pad injury where the dog would limp because it was sensitive to the touch. Once I applied this and it dried, he was able to continue in comfort. I have used it to treat cuts and scrapes on my reptiles as well. I believe you can use it on humans too.

I have gone through many tubes of this stuff and I have learned one trick to make it last without drying out. Instead of opening the tube cap and applying the gel and close the lid, unscrew the cap and apply then put the cap back on. When I used to open the cap, use it and close it, the tip would dry because you are not really closing the cap air tight because of remnants of gel residue. Hope that makes sense.
