I was very unsure about whether I should buy these EMUs or the more expensive Uggs. It was a VERY difficult decision because I did not want my girls in anything but the best. We live in Minnesota and it is getting COLD. Last year they wore huge boots from Lands End. They schlepped around town almost dragging their boots as they walked. I wanted warm... yet light. The fact that these boots are fashionable is a bonus. The leather is FANTASTIC. We own a leather manufacturing company and even my picky husband agrees that the leather is nice. They do run a bit large however. Maybe 1/2 size big. I bought 3 pairs. Their height was perfect for my 6 and 8 year old. However, they were a bit too tall for my 3 year old. She will wear them anyway!!!!!! In summary, these boots were a great deal. I am glad that we chose them rather than the more expensive Uggs. If you are unsure, as I was.....then rest easy. You can't go wrong!

The shipping was extremely fast. Great service. I got it 2 days after I ordered it. The shoes are very nice. Warm and soft. I see no difference between them and the twice as expensive Uggs. The only thing is I think the shoes are a little bit bigger than the size stated.

I bought these as a Christams present for my daughter in chocolate brown and they are too cute! I bought them instead of UGGS; not wanting to by something quite so pricy for a little girl. I am so gald I did -- I like these better than UGGS -- just as high quality with a little extra flair...she is going to be thrilled.

I had purchased Warmbat boots last year for my daughter and this year I got her (she is 5) the EMUs from Amazon. She was wearing it almost everyday in the previous cold months and after a few weeks I noticed that she is walking lopsided, her feet are sliding in which has never happened with any kind of shoes before. So much that the boots look all the way mutated now.

And today after reading the following sentences in a related article I guess I will have to find another warm alternative for her feet during winter time:

Other than this, they are sure warm and comfy but after a few weeks wear they look quite old and worn out too.

Bought these for my 2 yr old son, got them on sale so I got 2 pairs (different colors/size). They are quite tall, but can easily be folded down in the shaft, which I may end up doing come fall....We shall see:-) Great deal, and I love the fact that they are lines with real wool/fur, not that fake polyester stuff. Also a lot cheaper than UGG's, but just about the same quality (well: almost). But for kids that grow out of their shoes in a couple of months: these are perfect. PS: remember to weather-proof them BEFORE use, if not the suede leather will get ruined fast.

I am an adult who wears a kids' size shoe and I have to say that at times it can be very frustrating to find a stylish, quality shoe/boot that doesn't look childish. These boots are of a great quality and style. They are very comfortable and although they are the kids' Hi Boot, the shaft of the boot comes up a bit higher than mid-calf (I am 4'10"). I took the advice of previous reviews and ordered the size 3 (normally I wear a 3.5), as these do tend to run big. They fit me perfectly. They are very warm. I've worn them out in the snow and they kept my tootsies warm and cozy!

Additionally, the customer service was fabulous! I opted to go with free-shipping and my shipment arrived days before the anticipated date.

Excellent Quality and exceptional price! My 10yr old is in heaven with this boot. Extra comfy and high style!

There are beautiful and comfortable, but are getting dirty with rain/water pretty easily (I have suede color). They are warm, I got the extra tall once, I hope they are not made from real animals :(

I got these boots for my 3 yr old toddler girl in pink last year for $28.00. The went all the way up to her knees and are lined with thick wool. They were great while they fit and I would buy them in every size for $28 but alas, no, they are too much right now. The pink color is great and matched every pink outfit she wore with them. She is a slim size 4 so they would not fit under skinny jeans or slimmer leg pant but were great under boot cut pants and perfect with dresses.

All in all, this was one the the best buys I've ever made on Amazon or anywhere else. If your child's foot grows slowly spend up to $40 on these boots. If your child's foot grows a size every few months...buy them one size too big and wait for the price to drop like I did.

I bought these boots for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. Rather than spending $140 for UGG boots, I compromised by spending $60 for these boots. Within 1 week, the stitching around the top and down one of the seams came undone. Honestly, the $15 shearling boots that I bought from Target lasted a whole year, while these lasted a whole week. When I went to return them, they are no longer in stock. I am very disappointed.
