These boots are beautiful quality, they are so soft and comfortable but I just couldn't adjust to the open sides and strings. As another reviewer had mentioned, the sides of these boots are completely open down to the ankle, I knew this before buying but I thought I could make it work-wrong. The strings just wouldn't stay tied tight or in place which allowed the boots to slowly open up, I sent them back because they were not what I was expecting. Craftsmanship and color was impeccable though, so sad to return:(

My foot measures an exact size 10 and these are too short for me. If I could, I would definitely get one size up(they are whole sizes only) but I'm out of luck - they don't come in an 11. That didn't stop me from buying two pairs as gifts, though.

If you get the Emu PREMIUM version - these boots are much nicer than Uggs and because of the name brand factor, much cheaper too. Just make sure the ones you buy say PREMIUM in the description. I can't vouch for the regular ones.

I was told these are made by the original makers of Uggs and I did a side-by-side comparison in the store. These are well made and the fleece is much more dense than an Ugg boot. The wool is from Australia, but just like Ugg, they are made in China.

They are not Ugg copies - the sole is much different and I think, better. However, it might bother you if you just want to look like you have Uggs.

These boots look good and are high quality material.

Previous reviews advised to buy smaller.
Being a 7.5 I ordered a 7 and they were far to small! Returning these boots and buying an eight.

I just received my boots today. First of all, what a great deal! I ordered mine in pink. Second, I was glad that I didn't size down as it was mentioned previously. I am 7 in boots and I got 7 in these. So far as new they fit perfectly (no extra room in the foot area but also no rubbing), I haven't worn them outside yet. The quality of the boot is very good, hope they'll last! I love the color, it's fun!

These Emu boots are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I did downsize 1/2 size when ordering and I am glad I did. They fit me perfectly, and I wear them without socks, as recommended by the manufacturer. I can wear them ALL day without any discomfort at all. I have had people stop me on the street to ask where I got them and they are shocked when I tell them how inexpensive they were! I wish I had them in every color!

These boots are very cute. I read all the reviews and sized down as recommended. Do not size down . Luckily I have daughters that wear the size I ordered(8)and kept them for x-mas. Then reordered in my size(9)and they are perfect.

I just received these today, but am shipping them back immediately to purchase a different style. They are very cute and I'm sure would be great--if you only want to wear them indoors as slippers! The sides are completely open, all the way down to the ankle--not at all practical for the snowy winters of Vermont. If you live in Southern CA or FL, go for it, otherwise try another style!

I absolutely adore these boots. They're very comfortable, and having the open sides means I can adjust the boot to whatever pants I'm wearing (plus, I have naturally large calves, that don't usually fit into other boots). No, these aren't "snow" boots, but they hold up just fine in areas that have been shoveled/plowed. The only caveat is that there is nothing holding the ribbons up, so they can get loose and fall with wear. Sort of annoying, but nothing really too bad.

I bought these for my 15 yr old daughter. She seen these in a magazine and loved the style since these were so different from all the other boots (brand) girls her age wear. She loves the comfort and has received so many compliment while wearing them. She loves them so much we bought another style in this brand.

I expected these shoes to be more comfortable. They feel funny on the toes. They are very warm, but I suggest to by half size bigger.
