These boots are very warm and super comfortable. I love them because they are a great alternative to the basic and kind of boring Ugg boot. These have a little bit more style to them while you stay warm. The only thing is they come up really tall on me because I am short (5"3) but they still look good. They also take some time getting on and off but overall I am happy with the purchase.

Oh, and I found sizing to be fairly accurate. I wear a 7.5 (sometimes a bit smaller or larger depending on brand) and got these in an 8 and they fit well. But other Emu boot's sizes seem to be really confusing and off so I agree it can be tricky ordering the correct size. The fit of the shaft was not a problem either for skinny calf people because of the lace ups.

Just got these boots yesterday. LOVE. I wear them with leggings, tights or my jeans (that aren't the skinny type but still look great). They are warm, but not too warm and super comfy. The sole is good and comfy and makes walking with them for a linger period possible. I'm 5'11 and they reach up to a little bellow my knee. Also I have larger calves but they fit fine.

The only reason I did not give these five stars is that it is A LOT of boot. While they look sleek and sexy in the photo, once on your legs the sheepskin, being bulky as it should be for warmth, needs to be tightly laced to give anything close to that look you see in the picture. I love that they come up to my knees as this is always a challenge with my long legs. They look great with leggings and are accurately sized - I wear a 9.5 or 10 and the 10 fits perfectly with light socks. The quality of the premium sheepskin is so superior to Emu's merino wool, which is found in their less expensive lines, that I would not even consider those to be comparable. I will be happy with these for years to come, I'm sure, especially for the incredible bargain I got here at Amazon.

UPDATE: Make sure you waterproof these before wearing them in snow as the suede will discolor. I missed a spot near the heel and it shows. I don't really care because these are for cold weather and wearing at our ski house which includes snowy conditions; they are not so much a fashion item for me. But some ladies might not be happy if their boots aren't perfect =) The other thing you can try if they do get discolored is to lightly mist the boot all over with water, let them dry, then waterproof...that provides even discoloration, slightly darkening the boots. I must say, I get tons of comments on these, even from men.

these boots arrived in 2 days eventhough i didn't order the super fast shipping. yeah!
alas...i opened the box to find that one of the bottom grommets was detached from the boot. shoe mania was super nice & efficient about the return and i would have just exchanged them, but there were no more in my size.
i have read some of the other reviews that suggest sizing down. do not size down! these boots fit perfectly in the size ordered in bare feet. if you want to wear socks wih shearling boots like these, you may want to go a size larger. these are not the boots to wear for tromping in the snow due to the suede & limited tread, but they do look nice & will keep you toasty warm in cold weather.

I bought the size 7 and if it werent for the snug fit i would rate this product a 5 stars. I guess its my fault for not researching the correct size on this particular type of warm, fuzzy boots. On the other hand, they are very lightweight, practical, stylish and warm. LOVE THEM!

I got it as a present from my friend, who did not check if everything was ok with its quality. When I received it in Europe, the term to retur the shoes was already over. Which is totally annoying! One of the boots is ok, while the sole of the other is totally defective - it is curved wrong - the left and right sides of the sole differ in more than half of inch in hight. Not only the esthetic view is poor, I can not wear them at all.

I love these boots there really cute the only reason why there getting four stars is because they run a little big. I wear a size 8 and these are like a size 9. They fit really good when I wear my thick socks with them. Very warm and cozy

I have been buying emu boots for years..this one is the best I've ever had. They are very warm and have a sturdy sole. They are also fun to wear. You will love them. E of MN

Just received these boots about an hour ago and I absolutely LOVE THEM! They feel so sturdy and comfortable and are exactly what I was hoping on receiving! FYI: If you plan on wearing thick socks with these boots (as well as almost all other cold-weather boots), make sure to purchase a half size larger than the size you normally wear! Happy shopping!
