I couldn't justify paying for a third pair of UGGs so I got myself a pair of EMUs instead. I'm a true size 6 (women's) and I've found that I can save money by ordering kid's size 4 shoes. (Actually, I think a size 3 would have worked as the boot I got is a little loose.) The kid's Stinger does not have the reomvable insole included in the women's Stinger, but I couldn't justifying paying an extra $30 just for the insole.
The inside of the shoe is VERY comfortable, lined with thick fur. The bottom of the shoe is a little narrower than UGG boots so does feel a little different, but I find that to be a good thing, as it decreased the platypus look/feel you get when you wearing shearling lined boots.
These boots are NOT made for wet wintry conditions as they are not waterproof, but in cold dry temperatures, there's nothing I'd rather have on my feet! I haven't noticed any quality difference between UGG and EMU and I'd definitely recommend these as a practical, cheaper alternative.

These boots are awesome. I bought both the Stinger (for my 3 yr old) & the Bronte (for my 7 yr old)... the Stinger is better quality than the Bronte. Also they are quite tall. They still fit her nice just taller than I expected. My girls love them as do I. The color is rich and the suede is oh so soft. I would definitely put a stain guard on them or they will look dirty way too soon. All & all they are fabulous:) Amazon had the best price of any ugg-like boots for kids that I could find on the net & I got them with out any hiccups:)

These are fine for in and out of the car but not warm enough for extended time outside in below freezing temps.

These boots are her favorites. She puts them on first thing in the morning doesn't matter what else she is wearing. She receives lots of complements, which she loves. Buy them!

Like the other buyer, I also wanted true sheepskin boots (not just suede with wool glued to it), but didn't want to pay the high prices for uggs. I missed the gold box Emu Stinger woman's sale recently, and was looking around, and found this. I am a size 7, slightly narrow foot (but wear 7 medium, not 7 narrow), and I don't have big calves. I took a chance and got the kids size 4 in chestnut, and it's slightly short, but otherwise fits beautifully! In comparing the sizing chart, I think I'm about 1/4 inch too long for the boot, but I'm confident it will stretch. I've worn them for a little while, and there's absolutely no problem with pain, or pinching. If you've got a thinner build, and are a size 6 or 6 1/2 shoe, then definitely get these! They'd be perfect for you, and much higher quality than the Emu Bronte series, at a comparable or even lower price! For only forty-four bucks total, these were a complete steal!

I got a pair of stingers for me and a pair for my daughter who is 3. She loves having boots like Mommy! She immediately tucked her pants into the boot and feels so cool! I must say that mine are comfortable to walk in, and very warm. The sheepskin is just as high-quality as my UGGS. I have had my UGGS for 7 years and needed some new ones, but didn't want to spend $200. So, I got EMUs with no regrets! They fit differently, but I like the support in the arch better than UGGS which are totally flat.

My daughter is a pink fanatic and she loves her pink boots! They are cushy and soft. Although they go almost to her knees (she is 3, wearing the size 10) they are not hard for her to walk in because the shaft is very flexible. Cute over leggings or with skirts and the price couldn't be much better for this quality! Love them. Will buy the next size up when she grows out of these.

I just love these little boots. I'd had been waiting to get a great deal on them by ordering in the spring/summer (I missed out last year and the price went up come fall). Anyways, I got an excellent deal here on Amazon - as usual. These boots are just the best. The leather is high quality, as is the shearling inside the boot. They're super soft and comfy and this particular length of boot is nice - just below the knee. These are NOT WATERPROOF, so you will definitely need to treat them before wearing in them slushy wintery conditions in order to make them last. These are great alternative to the over-priced name brand boots (you know which ones). I would say these run just slightly large, and I believe the description also states this, so keep that in mind when ordering. Recommended? Absolutely!

Every time my little girl wears these boots she comes home with brown stains on her clothing from where she has rested on the damp boots and the color runs. We didn't have this problem last year with the cheaper non-sheepskin EMU's so I'd recommend the latter for any kid who wants to wear these boots outdoors on the most mildly damp of days.

These are a much better buy than Uggs, at about half the price. Real sheepskin lining and suede outer. Do not buy the Emu Bronte, as the lining in those is not really sheepskin, but rather tufts of wool glued onto a surface (which wears away quickly). Got these for my 9-year-old daughter, for whom I won't pay $100+ for a pair of boots that she'll outgrow in a year!
