This book is filled with brief stories that do just what the title says: encourage us with the words of God. Coupled with Scriptures perfect for our needs, the stories address us at discouraging times in our lives, when we're afraid, fighting a battle, depressed, worried or bothered by other difficulties -- those situations to which we can all relate. Especially when we feel lost, the author's words remind us of God's love and grace. "If you follow Him, God promises you will not walk in darkness.
