This is a good shoe. It's more like a high-top running shoe than a hiking boot.
I wear an 8.5M but ordered a 9M because that is all that was available. An 8.5 would have definitely been ideal for me because these boots are true to size. They seem to run a bit wide so if you have wide feet I think that these would be fantastic for you. I wore these on a rocky 2 hour hike and found them to be nicely cushioned because I could barely feel the rocks under my feet but I did have a sore spot on the bottom of my foot below my right big toe. Needless to say I won't be wearing these for anything other than a light hike in the future. But hey, the price was right and they are overall quite comfortable (except for that one spot that I mentioned, thus the 4 star rating.) |
