I ordered two of these batteries for a wedding shoot I had. I was the videographer, so I was using the video features on a T2i and T3i primarily. These batteries work great.

The only thing to keep in mind is that these will not hold as long of a charge as the official Canon batteries. These batteries lasted about 70% as long as my original Canon battery, so keep that in mind if you are shooting a lot of video, as you will probably need quite a few of these to continue to shoot throughout the day.

But being they are quite a bit less expensive than buying one directly from Canon, it's still a great buy.

Generics in general are the best way to go. This battery performs similar to the stock battery from Canon. I have no complaints and would suggest everyone buy the (potentially crappy battery in the long-term), because buying several of these is still less than the proprietary battery. Battery is still going strong after about 4 months and frequent use on our 2 week vacation.

The battery came on time and looked fine, however it won't seem to charge in the battery charger that came with my Rebel T3i. If anyone knows why or has a solution, please let me know because otherwise this battery was a useless purchase. If it would charge and work it would be a 5 star rating.

I had read good reviews about this and figured it was worth it, but when I put it in the Canon charger that came with my Canon EOS rebel t3i, the charging light which was normally solid was flashing. I left it like that all night, then in the morning it was still flashing, and when I put it in my camera, it showed no sign of working.

Please please do not buy this battery, this is no match to original one. It gets drained out very quickly.

Bought this battery 2 months ago thinking I would save a few dollars. Instead, I ended up with more headaches. This was supposed to be a back up battery for my T3i. I shoot a lot of HD video. If I could describe this battery in one word it'd be unreliable. It charges fine, it fits the camera, but when I need it, its usually at half charge. About 20 mins of battery life is normal. Also there seems to be a connection problem, because when I'm using it, the camera suddenly goes black. No warning about changing the battery pack, the battery gauge will be full and the shutter won't even close. I'd recommend just spending the extra money and buying the canon battery, which I've had no problems with at all thus far.

I've been using this battery for a long time and just now thought to write a review. It's a good thing 'cause it's gone with me through the ringer. It works just as well as my official Canon battery. The ONLY difference I've noticed is that soon after the battery icon on the camera turns red the battery will die (not forever, i mean until you charge it again). The official battery lasts a couple of minutes longer at that point (so have this in mind when trying to squeeze in a couple of more shots/pictures when it turns red). Btw, I use it for video and pictures. More video than pictures and it works just as well. Get it. For the price you cannot ask for anything better.

I ordered two of these and they both are working perfectly. They last longer than the battery that came with my Canon. I was a little hesitant after reading some of the other reviews but for the price I had to give it a try. The instructions do say to charge for a full 10 hours first time even if the charged light comes on sooner. I followed the instructions and have been completely satisfied with this purchase. I use my these batteries for shooting sporting events with a lot of continuous shooting and focusing. I have not used the flash much. Not sure if that would make a difference in performance when compared to other batteries.

I got this and loved how it looked. I even marked it with a white sharpie because I have 2 other batteries.. I was FAR too confident because after charging fully, it displayed full battery. until it was time to say the vows. I was doing a wedding and popped this battery in so I wouldn't have to mess around with changing them during the ceremony. My camera showed full battery and a minute later it completely shut off without warning. just dead.

It was a huge letdown and I'm pretty sure its not worth trying to get my money back. It has continued to have this deceitful problem ever since. Such a shame because I would have bought more of these for sure (had it worked as advertised).
