I tried three different manufacturer's printable fabric sheets. All were 100% cotton. Of the three, EQ Printables held the ink better and gave a sharper definition to the photo being printed. However, like the other two, EQ Printables still bled some when soaked in water as directed. When I used the fabric softener/water* directions, the bleeding was commendably less. (* 1 part fabric softener to 3 parts water)

I tested these fabric sheets along with June Taylor, some I got at Michaels and some I bought on Amazon at VVPrints. They were better than the June Taylor and Michaels sheets, but did not hold the color as well as the ones I got from VV Prints. The VV Prints fabric sheets were also a little softer. The EQ fabric sheets would be okay for quilt labels, but for a quilt I would go with the VVPrints sheets.

I bought these pieces for a journal quilt project. Pictures print well on them, with a fairly true-to-photo color quality. The ink stays put, which is nice (although I won't be washing the quilt on a weekly basis or anything).

The fabric has to be thin so that the sheets will print without jamming the printer. I wasn't too concerned about the actual quality or threadcount of the fabric for this project, but depending on the project, you might want something a little nicer.

I am really disappointed with this product. I did everything it said to do. The first ones the ink bled a lot even after leaving it to dry for over 24 hours. (Might have been my black ink though) the second ones I printed came out perfect till I went to wash something that had the label I made from this paper on it. There was nothing yellow in my washer but yet it turned colors right away. Now after the 3rd wash it looks more brown. I do not use a rash soap, I use something all natural. I just cant believe I spent so much on this to have this happen.

I use these quite often. I create custom labels for handmade quilts and other items. I also print off pages of labels to send to my mother, who is also a quiltmaker. Just make sure that before you hit print, you change the print quality setting to the best possible setting, to be sure the colors stay strong.

I have been using this product for over two years. It is consistantely good. The plastic backing makes removing the cotton fabric so easy! The fabric never jams in my printer. I will continue to use this product for many years.

I used the printable fabric sheets to make a family picture album for my grandson. The sheets worked perfectly...no problem printing on my Epson printer. Soaked in fabric softner/water as stated in directions and the ink set perfectly without runs or bleeding. I did have to trim the pages after they were dry as they were not uniform in size after soaking and drying, but the trim was less than 1/4" on any one sheet. Would highly recommend.

Don't even look at another brand -- these sheets are the best. I printed labels for my smaller quilting gifts, using an Avery address label template, then iron the sheet onto a piece of Soft Fuse. I cut them with a rotary cutter & ruler. Voila! personalized labels, ready to iron onto my projects. The sheets also produce wonderful, larger labels for bigger quilts.
