Having enjoyed 2 hours of ER reruns each weekday morning for the last year or so (and purchasing season 1 and 2 on DVD), I finally broke down and got this soundtrack CD. It's full of excellent mood music from the series. It's a shame that 3 of these 17 tracks have vocals. It sort of ruins the mood (sorry Marc, I've enjoyed seeing you live though). The insert doesn't even identify which episodes they're from. Apart from tracks 6, 9, and 17, this is what a true soundtrack should sound like - full of music from the show, not a handful of thrown together singles. I'm sure glad my CD player is programable. Be sure to check out the 2 versions of the Theme From ER. This could have been a solid 5 star affair if only someone had done a little surgery on it first.

I love this CD. The piano tracks are excellent setting a wonderful mood. I especially love 'Goodbye Baby Susie', 'Doug and Carol' and 'The Hero'. Which are all the better if you are famillar with ER and the storylines the tunes relate to. The tracks with vocals have wonderful lyrics and the version of 'It came upon a midnight clear' is the best I've heard.

I think this is a great soundtrack! I love ER and I love this soundtrack. I bought this because, i used to play an episode a hundred times, because I liked the song. I download, all the excisting songs, but these are specially made for ER, if you are a real ER fan, you have to get this~!
