Honest and surprisingly candid, May 13, 2006
This review is from: ERIC IS WINNING !!: Beating a Terminal Illness with Nutrition, Avoiding Toxins and Common Sense (Paperback)
First let me start by saying that I am a newly diagonesed person with ALS. As a 32 year-old father comming to terms wit a disease that is considered 100% fatal, it is refreshing to hear of people living with ALS and simply not dying from it. Like the author I have done quite a bit of research on ALS and come to many of same conclusions. Eris Is Winning!! has been a becon of hope for me and my family. I recommend the book for anyone with ALS, preferably as soon as possible.

Time to Take Responsibility for Our Health, August 15, 2009
This review is from: ERIC IS WINNING !!: Beating a Terminal Illness with Nutrition, Avoiding Toxins and Common Sense (Paperback)
I read Eric's book in 2005 and I'm glad I did. Nobody in the medical field is giving people with ALS any hope, but Eric truly is winning, actually getting better and not worse. I'm doing what he recommends in the book, and my health is still good 4 1/2 years later. 4 years into a 5 year death sentence and I'm still walking and dancing. I think Eric Edney is right about the cause of ALS: Toxins, malnutrition, and stress.
Get the metal out of your mouth.
Detoxify by chelation and other methods.

Take neuroprotective supplements as needed.
De-stress and keep a positive mental attitude.
Eric, you rock!

Hope for the "Medical Incurables", November 5, 2006
This review is from: ERIC IS WINNING !!: Beating a Terminal Illness with Nutrition, Avoiding Toxins and Common Sense (Paperback)
Eric Edney is an inspiration for the many thousands afflicted with ALS. Eric's determination to conquer a disease that the medical establishment walks away from is a document of the power of the human body and mind to heal itself without the use of harmful medications, which often merely suppress symptoms. I first learned of "Eric is Winning" from one of my ALS patients and I now have recommended his book to any patient who has an "incurable disease." A true practitioner doesn't give up on their patients, but helps guide them towards reasonable solutions, which may restore or preserve function and certainly provide a sense of hope. I applaud Eric for his courage and fortitude to combat an illness that his medical doctors walked away from and condemned him to death. Dr. Glenn Gero, Holistic Naturopathic Center
