Product Description

In most respects the limited edition ESP KH-2 Kirk Hammett Signature Series Electric Guitar is an M-II Deluxe that's been loaded with screaming EMG-81/60 active humbuckers. The extra thin flat neck has a 24 extra-jumbo fret fingerboard to provide a springboard to intense, fleet-fingered flurries of riffage and extreme note bending. The finely crafted skull-and-crossbones pearl inlays add an extra dollop of menace. Includes hardshell case.

All around great guitar. The thin U-contour neck feels and plays fantastic with tight action. Came already tuned, never loses tuning once it's locked in at the nut even after dive bombing. The guitar has a decent weight too it, not too heavy, not too light. I switched out the strap posts out for strap locking style to protect the guitar from any strap slipping accident's, but that was the only modification needed. For $20 that was fine by me.

If you switch tunings a lot, be aware that this guitar has a Floyd Rose original bridge. Drastic tuning changes require intonation of the guitar, which you can do yourself (YouTube it) but it's not a 2 minute process. Mine came tuned to E standard. I have my other guitars tuned differently and switch between them. If you're looking for something more tuning flexible, I'd go with something different. Do your research before throwing three grand at a guitar. On that note, you will fall in love with this one the moment you hold it.
