Titulo Original: I LOVE YOU EUGENIO (ITALIA) SINOPSIS: Ganadora del premio del festival cinematográfico de Palm Springs 2002, UN AMOR MUY ESPECIAL es la historia de Eugenio, un hombre maduro con Sindrome de Down, Eugenio vive en una espaciosa casa en el campo en donde cuida a Federico, su hermano mayor. El pasa su tiempo trabajando como jardinero y de voluntario en el centro de traumatología de un hospital, en donde conoce a Laura, quien resultó gravemente herida en un accidente automovilístico. Eugenio hace el sorprendente descubrimiento de que Laura es hija de Elena, a quien Eugenio amó cuando era un adolescente y que realmente nunca la pudo olvidar. Cuando Elena reaparece en la vida de Eugenio, es forzado a enfrentar los rechazos que ha sufrido a lo largo de su vida.

This film is exceptional in every way. Actor Giancarlo Giannini is almost unrecognizable in this role as a special needs adult with a huge heart. He is magnificent. My only wish is to obtain a DVD of this film with English subtitles rather than Spanish.
