I brought this watch for my husband for Christmas 2010. The watch is beautiful. However now it's April 29, 2011. I have no way of contacting Amazon, as they have removed the link to let them know that the band on the watch has completely falling apart. My husband does not wear this watch everyday as he changes watches along with attire daily. It is somewhat embassing to give bragging rights to Movado and be disappointed like this. I can purchase a new watch band however it's the principal. "ESQ by Movado" brand name expectations should last longer than a mere 5 months.

I didn't buy this exact model, but I have a similar one that I bought from a jeweler. The face is really nice, but the strap quality is relatively poor for the price. ESQ uses these leather straps -- brown or black -- for many of their leather strapped watches, mine also fell apart/broke. The crystal also scratches much easier than a sapphire crystal face found on most watches with a higher price tag, mine scratched in a few places after about six months of daily wear. Overall, it was a pleasure to own this watch, but for $200 I paid for it, I was disappointed with the strap in several respects: faded, glue came undone, one loop fell off, and it began to crack...all after about a year.

This was a gift for my husband's birthday.
It looks nice and is a great watch for him.
Dressy...yet casual enough to wear daily.
