Pretty much perfect..., March 30, 2009

I've liked the look of the Blackfin series since they've come out in the last year or so(maybe less). I figured I'd wait a while until I found one that fit right and was affordable for me. I didn't really care for the rubber band versions. Nice, but not my preference.
Luckily, I have a Movado store nearby. I went in, tried it on, got the price breakdown with all sales and such applied and walked out with it in it's nice velvety brown box. This piece is worth every bit of the $595 retail price.
Great size, great weight, modern-classic look. The band is very reminiscent of the old Timex IronMan's that had the stainless with rubber inserts, though this is all stainless. This might just be my new favorite everyday watch. It will certainly share time with my Beacon.
If you're considering this watch at all... Just get it. You will absolutely love it.
