I purchased this watch for myself after looking for a nicer black-faced watch for a while. It arrived in perfect condition thanks to Amazon's careful packing. The face is easily read with the light catching marks for the numbers. I especially like the date located at 6 o'clock. The watch is medium light weight. The band is a little stiff at first, but breaks in after about a day of wearing, as leather should. I would definitely recommend this watch for someone wanting a professional, but not delicate, black faced watch.

Although I do like the look of this watch (very basic, great look for work)1 day after I received the watch, I pulled it out to wear to work and the battery was already DEAD!!!OMG!!! And the sticker on the back of it says " replace battery in Jun. 2014" Uh, HELLO!! It's not even 2012 yet!!! What a bummer :(

I purchased both the men's and women's version of this watch, and both watches are very nice. They arrived in perfect working order, and even had the correct time and date. The watch seems well made and accurate. It is elegant enough to wear as a dress watch, but is also casual enough for everyday use. The watch face is a simple, classic design, and is easy to read. The leather band is very stiff out of the box, but will soften up a bit after a few wearings. The watch is lightweight and comfortable to wear. If you're looking for a nice, Swiss made watch that doesn't cost a fortune, I recommend it.
