I bought a nice glass butter dish a while ago and I HATED IT!!!!!! Because when you put the lid on it, the butter would stick to the top. THIS butter dish is FABULOUS!!!!! It has the height that is needed for a stick of butter. I couldn't be happier!!!!

Love the simplicity of this butter dish. Good weight, too. Clear glass makes it a clean looking addition to the table--You don't have to open the cover to find that you need to add more butter.

The glass is heavy and the item is rather large but the positive point is that a cube of butter fits nicely without the cover touching the sides of top. Delivery on item was slow.
