In awarding Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex 3 stars, I don't mean to imply that it is a bad product, just that it does not have much added benefit over using Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair alone. I am a huge fan of Night Repair, having found it indispensable for over 20 years. But this Eye Recovery Complex didn't do anything for me. It is essentially a moisturizer and Advanced Night Repair combined. It's consistency is somewhere between a cream and a gel: a gelatinous cream. Like Night Repair, this Eye Recovery Complex is supposed to hydrate and accelerate skin's repair processes, with the added benefit of soothing, boosting collagen, and creating a moisture barrier for the delicate eye area -according to Estée Lauder's literature. It supposedly treats dryness, puffiness, dark circles, and wrinkles.

I haven't found that the Eye Recovery Complex does anything, even when I apply a generous amount and let it soak in. I get better results when I use a hydrating moisturizer around my eyes, allowing it to soak in, after I apply Advanced Night Repair. I use Estée Lauder's Vérité Moisture Relief Creme, which is gentle and unfragranced -perfect for sensitive skin around the eyes- and has a high water content. That's my advice: use Advanced Night Repair followed by a good hydrating moisturizer around your eyes, like you would on the rest of your face. Not moisturizing enough? Apply a thick layer of the hydrator and let it soak in for 30 minutes, then tissue off. If you already use Advanced Night Repair, buying the Eye Recovery Complex would probably be a waste of money.

I've been using Advanced Night Repair for a while and was very happy with the results, so I decided to give Eye Recovery complex a chance, too. Unfortunately, it was somewhat of a disappointment. I am fully aware nothing will make my dark circles completely vanish from my face as if a magician has swung his wand, but I have seen no improvement in making them appear any lighter, nor did it make the fine lines go away. I am also very religious when it comes to skin care, thus I have been using it regularly, and still nothing happened. Maybe it just doesn't work for me, given that the other reviewers seemed more excited about this product.

Stings a bit, very expensive, and I think not as effective as the Dior similar product.

I used this product for little over six months with less than stellar results. I am in my early 20s and have had lines around my eyes since I was 12 due to the way I smile. Even after nightly use for over six months, the lines around the corners of my eyes (that will one day be crows feet) are still very visible and I have seen no reduction what so ever. I did have fain dark circles under my eyes that have faded slightly with the use of the product. To some up, I was expecting a lot more based on the price and the supposed research and engineering that went into development.

I will up and date as I still have some left, but don't waste your money this isn't a miracle formula.

I have never been able to use any kind of eye treatment because they have all caused reactions or rashes. I have Rosacea and sometimes the rosacea creeps up into my under eye area, which can be very serious if not dealt with. This stuff is incredible! It hydrates my eye area without any kind of sensitivity or reactions. It has helped to strengthen the skin of my under eye area and it has totally cleared up irritation that I did have. Very reparative and healing, helps with dark circles, blotchiness and puffiness as well. Expensive, but works. Food for skin!

If you have dry, puffy, dark circles under eyes, this is for you! Have been using this product for two years...not disappointed.

I couldn't say if this diminished wrinkles or puffyness, but it's fab for great feeling eyes, the whole area is velvety smooth and skin feels as soft as silk!

my mom loves this eye cream!very velvety and not greasy like some other eye creams!

Its effect very much depends on the climate you live in. If you live in a colder and dry climate, especially during winter it does exactly as it promises - great moisturizer, lines are diminished, as is puffiness. I really love using it - I am 35 and currently living in a cold and dry climate. But in hot and sometims humid climates, or during summer it just doesn't work as well - I don't know why. I like it a lot and this is my 3rd bottle, although I am using it as a seasonal eye care.
