This VERY HELPFUL vendor offered this case to go with the telescope I purchased through Amazon.com from him, so that it would be just that much safer during shipping. Have no idea what the case looks like, since it was sent from the vendor out of state directly to the grandkids, also out of state, but my step-daughter indicated that nothing was amiss.
