I am a long time fan of the Great One. This book was everything I was hoping for. Lots of pictures and anecdotes. It resolved many questions I had concerning his career and life. I would strongly recomend it. Just wish that the book was a little larger but otherwise a must read for those who grew up watching the greatest daredevil ever.

This is the kind of book you read from start to finish without realizing a few hours just flew by. I've shown it to a number of friends and even the non-Evel fans have a hard time putting it down. Evel Ways is packed with pictures, captions and personal sidebars all woven into a fascinating story line. The book highlights many of the everyday people in Evel's life as well as the famous people who became Evel's pals over the years including a tribute from Muhammad Ali and Jack Nicklaus.

The first authorized book ever from the King of Suntmen is sure to be a record breaker and priced right to boot. Excellent reading, great gift book and immediate collectors item for every Evel Knievel memorabilia enthusiast. Wish I'd have hung on to that Evel lunchbox.

Evel Ways is a keeper!

Someone dropped this book into my lap the other day. Such an interesting topic! Evel is pompous as all get out; cocky; womanizing; self-serving; a true American and a real legend. He did stupid stunts and thrilled audiences worldwide. If you have any curiousity whatsoever about what made Evel Knievel, get this book. You'll read it in one sitting, and get an eye-popping glimpse into some amazing photos. If you have any curiousity whatsoever about the psychosis of hype, how the media works, and how lucrative lying can be, this book will provide you with some clues. Just read between the lines (assuming there are other intelligent people out there who are curious about Evel). At the end, I felt sorry for the guy; I realized how human he really is. ...

EVEL-WAYS..this book rocks with great pictures an storys of the greatest daredevil to ever walk the earth,,,if your a knievel fan it's a no brainer,if your a fan of the daring it's for you too,,,the book takes you on the wild ride that was EVEL KNIEVEL's life,not only as the world famous motorcycle daredevil,but through out his life,,Loaded with great KNIEVEL qoutes an tons of rare never before seen pictures from EVEL's own collection,,hey there's even one of ME BOB COOK an my son Bobby which is just too cool...i give this book two thumbs up,,,more if i had more then two thumbs...BUY THIS BOOK,,,

Evel did a wonderful job recreating the highs and lows of his life. The book captivated me on how this ordinary kid from Butte Montana rose to become a household name not only in the U.S. but throughout the world. Filled with over 200 photo's from his own personal photo album it brought me back in time to remember the excitement I felt during those daring jumps. The excitement that was created for us by a man a who knew what it would take to thrill an audience and keep you on the edge of your seat is once again brought to the forefront of your memories. Where were you on September 8th, 1974? If you are an E.K. fan this is must read. Evel, thanks for refreshing my memory. You are truly an American Icon.

Ask anyone riding at the X-Games or riding anything with 2 wheels who they look up to and it will be Evel Knievel. This book is an honest bioof the man himself. From his humblestart in Butte Montana to his record breaking jump at Kings Island , Ohio , Evel Knievel earned to be called the King of the Stuntmen!! Many have tried to knock Evel for being a ego driven man. But thats becausethey could not do what he did. And they had no idea how much hard work was behind all his jumps. A true legend and this book backs it up. Those who were not there never knew Evel and will be forgotten. But Evel Knievel will live forever
