Book Description

November 13, 2006
A mixture of Zen philosophy, personal experience and observation, and 50 years of thoughts about the complex interconnectivity of everything throughout the universe is combined into a concise, thought-provoking text that will most assuredly gain readers' attention. "Everything" presents a unique perspective about the origin of God, the reality of existence, the meaning of life, the true impact of a death, relationships between human beings and all life as well as the spirit world, and the impact that everyone makes on the universe. Who is in control? We are all in control... we are all part of everything.

More About the Author

Robert T. Wood grew up in Northern California. After a stint in the US Navy during the early/mid 1960's he settled in Honolulu, Hawaii, then later relocated to Tokyo, Japan. He is proficient in the Japanese language and taught Japanese as a hobby for many years. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and a Master of Arts in East Asian Languages and Literature, specializing in Teaching Japanese as a Second Language, from the University of Hawaii. Mr. Wood has essentially spent his whole adult life studying Japanese language, history, and culture.

His professional background is law enforcement. He has a degree in Criminal Justice (Police Science) and 36 years of experience. After 16 years in one of the largest police departments in the US, he spent 20 years as a foreign counterintelligence agent for a US federal law enforcement agency. After retiring from law enforcement he was immediately hired by a global corporation as the overseas director for corporate security for the Far East region. His expertise in security, counterintelligence, and antiterrorism operations is the basis for his latest publications concerning Security Management and Information Protection.

The themes of Robert T. Wood's writings are primarily for self-improvement -- whether learning about Japanese language or learning about oneself.
