This is a very good card with excellent video/graphics quality.

With the GT630 WoW automatic settings set the graphics to high and I get 30-36 fps and the game play is much smoother (no jumping or lag from the graphics side).

This card will do you well until you have the money to get a higher end card, that is if you are a heavy gamer.

I have read that the GT 430 was a better card than the 610, and was a little concerned that might be the case with this card, but it performs noticeably better in all regards. The GeForce GT 430 just does not compare to the GT 630 in anyway. In fact I read the specs and the GT430(which I have in my Bedroom computer)does not have a Cuda score near those of the GT 600 series.

I bought a new computer and like most new pre-assembled PC's it has a 300 watt power supply, so being limited to 300 watts this card seemed to be the best and easiest solution in improving my computers performance without swapping out power supplies.

This card is a major upgrade from the Intel onboard graphics that came with my new computer, for instance in the game "World of Warcraft" the Intel HD graphics would automatically set the game play to fair and I was getting around 24-30 fps. With the GT630 WoW automatic settings set the graphics to high and I get 30-36 fps and the game play is much smoother (no jumping or lag from the graphics side). There is also allot more detail in the game play, and Videos that I have saved on my computer play faster and without hesitation as does Netflix, and other internet based video such as YouTube. Maybe it's because I went from 1 to 2 Gigs from the GT 430 or the up to 2 gigs shared memory that the Intel HD 2000 video provided, and unlike the Intel HD graphics it does not rely on system resources, so the over all improvement is outstanding.

Over all this card is a great way to improve the performance of most of the store shelf mid priced computers available. It is very easy to install, and you can see great deal of improvement as soon as you re-boot. It also takes weight off of system resources including the Processor.

I'm not a gamer but I got this to use with a new i3 setup and Windows 64bit. It was a no brainer install and delivers good performance. The fan can be heard but is not loud and it is quite cool under light load. Note that the HDMI output is a MINI HDMI connector.

I have older, but still decent PC setup. As with most older rigs, when it comes to games the video card is the first component to let you down. I really didn't want to buy a new PC, but wanted to play some of the new games like Battlefield 3 and Bioshock Infinite. This card seemed to fit the bill.

My setup:
6 year old Dell XPS420
2.4Ghz quad core
Windows 7 (32-bit)
4gb ram 3
350W psu

The card came quickly and took less than five minutes to install. It is nice that it can draw all needed power straight from the PCI slot. Installed and updated drivers, and it ran wonderfully. I did not notice any more noise than usual.

While I do not have not purchased Bioshock Infinite yet, I can confirm that this card will play Battlefield 3 in multiplayer. BF3 was running with textures on ultra and everything else on medium. Resolution was set at 1680 x 1050. I have no idea what the fps was but play was smooth and the graphics were really good.

This is a really great card, at an excellent price/value for getting a few more years out of an older system.

The second graphic card of my original S.L.I. setup finally broke down after 6 years of constant use. I had no money to spare to buy a high end graphic card and I needed one like yesterday. I ended up buying this cheap graphic card because had 2GB of DDR 3 RAM.

When installing the graphic card I wanted to read thee manual. There was not a written manual. The manual was on the DVD. Hey EVGA use your tech heads. If your customer's computer is broken down how can they read the instructions on installing your product? Any way enough of that grip. While I was installing the card I tried to hook up the power from my power supply to the graphic card. To my surprise the graphic card didn't need any power from the power supply. All the power needed for the card came from the P.C.I. 16X slot on the motherboard.

After I installed the updated drivers from EVGA web site. I ran a performance test with Windows Experience Index on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1. On the old S.L.I. graphic card the rating Windows Experience Index gave was 5.5. On this new EVGA GT 630 graphic card the rating that Windows Experience Index gave was to 6.7. This is a 18 percent increase in performance over the old S.L.I. graphic card.

Upgraded Ati Radeon 4200 Integrated, installation was as easy as it could be, drivers showed up for the windows 7, major improvement in both the resolution and the ability to handle ram intensive applications. I'm very happy with the results. Also upgraded the factory 250 watt power supply to a 650 watt as the card does require about a 100 watts or so, I went with a 650 watt for breathing room in case I add other periphials, a 450 watt would have been plenty.

Fast, reliable, quiet and plays GTR Evolution with everything set on max. I also bought the GeForce 610 (see review) and this card outperforms that card by very little. So if you're narrowing it down, decide if you need the extra gig of ram and the extra CUDA cores. Works with a 350 watt power supply.
