I ordered this power supply to support the new EVGA motherboard which needed 2 motherboard power connectors and this was the only supply that had them, that I could find anyway. This is a nice unit and has more than enough connectors, perhaps too many. I do wish it had more modular connectors than it does as I have several hardwired cables that were not needed and are just taking up space. If this supply had more modular cables it would have warranted 5 stars. Overall a very nice OC power supply,

I got it to replace a 1,200 power supply that was not enough to handle the mother board and graphics cards that I had and this baby can handle my monster setup with no hiccups at all and believe me I do have a monster computer, most of it EVGA classified.

Great Power supply.

I own two of these and quite a few from different manufactures. These are trouble free over other brands I have had issues with. And I think Antec builds them, so that explains why they are solid.

Had this power supply installed for 3 days and it suddenly shut off my computer. Didn't think anything of it at first figuring some program may have upgraded itself and required reboot (Microsoft update, etc.). Well, computer never restarted and pressed start button on front and an explosion/firecracker sound came out of case (my daughter saw the flash from down the hallway...scared the crap outta me). I thought my computer was fried but the electronic burning odor was coming from the power supply. Disconnected it hooked-up back up power supply and everything is running bare-bones fine. Ordered another/different power supply not taking a chance on frying over $2000 in computer parts for this thing. -After it fried itself the red light indicating power was still flowing was still on...weird. Not taking a chance on burning down my house.
