I am so happy with this card that I do not think I need to set up an SLI configuration to get better performance.

Can run everything on ultra high settings exept for Crysis 3 but Crysis 3 still looks great and can run it on high settings at around 40 FPS.

I have to say I have had very good performance from all of my EVGA cards over the years and they have served me well gaming.

This card is a strong performer. I am glad I decided to wait on the 690 as this seems to have enough power to drive my 2560x1600 with all effects and settings maximized. Very pleased with the performance and the imagine quality.

The card is much quieter that my previous radeon and is drawing considerably less power. Happy on both accounts.

Only stressing video ram past the 2gb barrier for skyrim modifications, but figured the 4GB would be worth a few extra bucks to future proof for future titles with more detailed textures, or if I chose to implement a multiple monitor configuration.

The only caution I would provide is the card is large - even larger than my 4870x2. I failed to check the measurements in my case only to discover this was about 1/4" too long when I went to install it. Once I relocated a hard drive bay I was in business. But an item to double check if you cannot make adjustments to your case.

Great card and great buy.

So this review is for the actual product. Not for the third party seller Tiger Direct who sent a box that had the factory seal broken.

The card itself is amazing. The 4GB of memory makes a huge difference. I upgraded from a GTX 680 2GB and was getting a lot of stuttering when rotating the camera in Skyrim. This was due to the use of a lot of 4k texture mods and running Ultra at 2560x1440. I was maxing out the 2GB of VRAM. I tried every tweak I could find, but nothing would fix the stuttering. Upgraded to this card with the 4GB, and everything runs silky smooth. No more stuttering!!

This video card is amazing. I have yet to find a game this card cannot play on "Ultra" or "Ultimate" video settings. As far as cooling goes I have installed EVGA Precision X to monitor my temps, use the custom fan curve, and monitor the over all performance in game. My card stays at at around 65 degrees with 40 to 45% fan speed with an actual room temp of 60-65 degrees. This is also under a full load playing games like Battlefield 3, Crysis 3, Dead Space 3, Tomb Raider, and many other demanding games. I would have to say over all noise levels aren't too bad though I don't have anything to compare it to at the moment. I owned a GTX 670 FTW before this card. If you check the benchmarks, they are REALLY close in specs. However, I don't know if I am diluting myself but it does feel "better" when playing games. I was under the impression the 5-7% power difference between the two cards is negligible but I DO feel a difference. Bottom line, you will not regret dropping the money. Expensive, yes it is. I hardly find that a reason to take a star away from a great product.

I've been very satisfied with the performance of this video card in my Sim Racing / Gaming rig. It's matched up to an ASUS P8Z77-V LK motherboard, 16gb of G.Skill ram, and an i7-3770 cpu overclocked to 4.66GHz. At 1920x1080, you can pump BF3 up to Ultra with very little issue. I have a triple screen setup, and I'm running iRacing at 5760 x 1080 resolution with very good results. I have to turn off 2-pass and more shadows at a few tracks, like Spa, but otherwise you can pretty much max it out.

After plugging this Classy model into my X79 Mobo, I can set the dials to MAX and game away with no problems. Battleifield 3 on Ultra, sure! Borderlands 2 with maximum details and PhysX, of course!! Skyrim with high-res textures, all day long!!!

If you are looking for a powerful Graphics Processor, this is it. The 4GB of VRAM will be useful for multi-monitors. My longterm goal is to grab a 2nd Class and two more monitors. But until then, I recommend this beautiful beast for a brilliant gaming experience.

A GPU you will not regret. Amazing performance, noiseless (standard fan speed). A recommended purchase for hardcore gamers who enjoy game settings on ULTRA.

This card has lights and stickers and makes my video games look so awesome that Booker Dewitt can see Elizabeth's nipples.

I used this card on my older core 2 duo machine and it still ran great. I was able to play all the games on highest resolution and settings. I did see some lag due to the 2 core processor. After I upgraded my processor to an i7 with 4 cores, I saw a marked improvement in frame rate and smoothness in multi-player games. Simulators can run on the highest settings and this card is a real treat. Games look so good, it feels like a movie. I do believe that you should get the 4GB version (this one) over the 2GB version so that you can support multiple monitors (I use 3) and be future proof. Currently there are only a handful of games that use more than 2GB of Video RAM but that will change soon. Life-like graphics and multiple HD monitors will eventually work better with 4GB of video ram. I also turn "compression to save Video RAM" off since I have so much to use. I am sure it improves the performance of games to avoid compression. You will have to make sure your case is large enough to fit this card. This card is huge. EVGA cards run quiet and this one also has a set of 5 bright white leds on the card. It makes the card look cool. I am so happy with this card that I do not think I need to set up an SLI configuration to get better performance. Since this card is overclocked from the manufacturer it is fast and the quality of graphics is mind-blowing. This is a perfect card for someone who does not want to fiddle around with overclocking their graphics card. This card is powerful enough to carry you through atleast 2-3 years (maybe longer) of high end gaming.
