IMO, Nvidia makes the best GPU's for us PC gamers.

I can however, play the game on Ultra, and play many other games that I was playing on Medium/High on Ultra with maximum settings as well.

The GTX 770 is also better designed than a GTX680 and has a nice thick PCB.

The GTX 770 is basically a GTX680 which isn't necessarily a bad thing but a good thing since it's much cheaper than a GTX680 and a bit faster. I have five computers at home and I just upgraded one of them to the GTX 770 because the card that I had before (HD6850) just died on me. The GTX 770 is also better designed than a GTX680 and has a nice thick PCB. I love GPUs that have thick PCBs. :D

The EVGA GTX 770 comes with a base clock of 1046Mhz and a boost clock of 1085Mhz. It also comes with 2GB of Vram that is more than enough for gaming. It handles all of my games at 1080p without an issue. It also has no problems maxing games at 2560x1400 and the 2GB Vram is more than enough for that resolution. I'm seeing a lot of people that say 2GB isn't enough for anything above 1080p which isn't true.

The GTX 770 has some nice 700-series features that the GTX680 didn't have such as GPU Boost 2.0 and OpenGL 4.3 support. GPU Boost 2.0 allows raising the frequencies of the GPU above their base clock as long as there is enough power headroom and it supplies the the voltage that it requires to accomplish this. This is a nice feature that Nvidia has implemented into their GPUs because it makes their cards much more efficient than the competition. There really isn't any reason to look at 6xx series cards at this point unless the GTX 680 comes down in price.

The automatic fan speed is great but I usually use MSI Afterburner to control the fan speed of all of my cards because I have more control over the automatic fan speed. The card idles at around ~32c which is pretty cool and under load doesn't go above 70c. I love the smooth experience that this card delivers in games.

This graphics card is the definition of bang for your buck. I've made the mistake of buying a prebuilt desktop, which is an Asus Essentio. The graphics card that was in it was outdated so I upgraded to this, and after installing it today, I am the happiest kid there is.

I did receive Batman Arkham Origins with the game as a Steam download code but I'm not sure if the deal is still going on. I can however, play the game on Ultra, and play many other games that I was playing on Medium/High on Ultra with maximum settings as well. Guild Wars 2 is a graphics extensive game and I can play with full character shading and environment shadows, etc.

Computer Newbies like myself PLEASE READ:
If your computer is not a gaming PC to begin with then most likely will have a very basic stock power supply. I also had to upgrade my power supply which was another $83 but it is also well worth it. I also went with another EVGA product and it was the EVGA NEX750B and it's just as amazing as this card.

Happy Hunting for you Graphic Gamers!

I love this card. The fans keep it really cool. I've played several games on highest settings and highest temp has been about 63c and fan speed was about ( can't remember exactly) 65-70% maybe less, I haven't noticed high temps or fan speed noise at all but, I have been occupied playing so I can't notice all info on on-screen display. I have so many noise producing things in my house that keeping my computer at low noise levels is really not that important to me. I actually sleep better with background noises anyway. I highly recommend this card as upgrade to anything below the GTX680. If you have a GTX680 save your money or go next step up to GTX780 if you have the funds. I got the free back plate with this card but I haven't installed it yet. It appears to me to be more a cosmetic add-on instead of helping heat reduction, but it does look good on (I have seen other cards with it installed). All in all a great card, I upgraded from GTX560Ti. I love it.

I was looking to get the SC version, but after hours of browsing I mistakenly chose it's brother with the same ACX cooler. It didn't much matter though as I'm water-cooling it anyways. This took an EK block very easily, and functions well, overclocks well also. Lots of USEFUL features are included with Nvidia's cards which I appreciate.

These video cards (purchased 2) to run in sli replaced 2 GTX 480s, not only did the temperatures drop in my case, the power useage measured at the wall via Kill A Watt and using my cyberpower APC monitoring software was almost cut in half.
Remember if you are still using an older system like me I7-920, X58 Mobo you are still bottle necked by the motherboard and old technology but still these were light years ahead of my old video cards.

this card has played almost every game i put it against on max settings (crysis 3, batman origins, metro last light, and tomb raider.) the only game it will not max out is assassins creed black flag. I used this to replace my old gtx550 sli setup and i have doubled in performance, (for 30fps in tomb raider ultimate settings up to a smooth 60fps) i am also using one of my old gtx550s as a dedicated phsx card. i would highly recommend this card, i will make another review after i sli this here in a few months.

Bought this item as an upgrade to my dated 470 GTX and couldn't be happier. The fan noise level difference from an older GTX 470 to this is night and day; doesn't sound like a Jet Plane is in the room anymore. And the power consumption is much less.

As for FPS in one of the games that I play - WoW - 150+ in 25m Raids Vsync off - Ultra Settings Minus Shadows which is at High ( WoW is CPU dependent more so than GPU )
