I've even held my ear up to the case to hear it running and could just barely hear it purr.

I really like this card a lot. The only problem I had with it which was more of a personal problem, is that I had modify the plastic housing on the card in order for it to clear my hard drive and disk drive cable ports, but not a big deal at all. Other than that, I love it. I read that a lot of people complained that the fans were too loud at idle, I've barely heard a whimper from mine. Even at 100% it's still very quiet, and I have an open case.

UPDATE: It has been two months and so far this card's performance is nothing short of stellar for its price. I gave it an extra star because after checking back what I wrote, I realized I don't really care about those issues I had. This card makes up for everything. It still is a definite must have if you're on a budget. I have no issues on either Win7, Win8.1 or OpenSuse Linux operating systems.

The Card Itself: fantastic card although when I purchased it for some reason I saw "FTW" and thought it was the Ti FTW version as I wasnt aware there was another FTW version in the regular 750. The maxwell architecture which this is based on is quite power efficient as my tests so far have all been pleasing. Runs every recent game at > 35fps usually on pretty high if not maxed settings. I do some engineering modelling and it does its job quite well with programs like COMSOL and SolidWorks. Very quiet card. I am MOST impressed with the overclocking: +1000Mhz to clock and +200 to memory without overvolting and it maintains 35C even under load and mind you I don't have a well cooled large case which is quite a feat for me. While this you might think warrants 5 or even 4 stars...read on to my issues...

Installation: No included molex to 6 pin, although many people said you didn't need it as MOBO power should have been sufficient, the system refused to boot without a connector. Unfortunately, I didn't have one available so had to purchase one hence minus 1 star. EVGA driver disc came with nothing on it, while that some might think shouldn't matter as you always download the latest drivers first...I did and my system BSOD'd. Eventually I did sort it out by downloading older drivers and then updating thus far it runs stably.

Hello Psy,

We understand that you did not receive a dual molex to 6-pin PCIe power adapter in the box with your card. In the future, if you are missing an in-box accessory with your purchase, please feel free to call our customer support at 1-888-881-EVGA (3842). We would be happy to send you the adapter you need at no cost to you.

Thanks for your review, and thanks for being an EVGA customer.

Does what it describes! I gave it a four because it met my expectations. Its fast, think, looks like a tank, and its the most quiet Graphics Card I have had. I even leave my side panel off (Because I only have two fans in my PC) and I can't hear it. The poster and stickers were a great touch. Be warned it does not come with a molex to 6 pin adapter, however this did not affect me as my PSU is EVGA as well, so the PSU had a 6 pin as one of the cords already. I have been using it for about 2 weeks, no technical problems.

Cons: The screw holes don't line up so I have to hold it in by the hinge that is on my case.
I had to modify the plastic part on the bottom left of it so I could close the lock hinge closed.

I really love this card, however I wish it had another DVI port seeing as most HD monitors use DVI instead of HDMI. Also i've seen several things telling me that I am eligible for a free copy of watch dogs but can't seem to figure out how to redeem it. All in all though amazing budget card.

Yes, yes it does. At nearly 300fps. But the human eye can't see past 60fps, and most monitors are 60hz monitors so you don't actually see past 60fps. So anything past stable 60 is unnecessary.

Very quiet, runs cool in my case, very powerful. Couldn't be happier.

Playing all games on High to Ultra settings: Rift, Word of Warcraft, WildStar. Getting more FPS than I was hoping for! Now this is NOT a high quality card, decent maybe even slightly above average, but not high quality (but don't let me discourage you!). IF you are looking for something for your "NASA" computer or simply have more money to dump into your rig I'd recommend the GTX 770 or higher. However I was on a bit of a budget, I needed a new card and was willing to pay but didn't want to break the bank, and this card was 150 USD (price at the time of purchase), was defiantly reasonable and I got more than I bargained for.

This card is as you would say, as silent as the grave. I've even held my ear up to the case to hear it running and could just barely hear it purr. Some people however have stated it was loud/noise, but I don't seem to have that problem. I don't mind a little fan noise during intense gaming/application use (i.e, Photoshop, After Effects. etc) so long as its justified.

The only issue I have isn't even related to the card. My CPU could be better creating a bit of a bottle neck. However that will be replaced soon and this monstrous card will be unstoppable!

With that in mind, I recommend you have a quad-core CPU with at least 3.2Ghz. Mine is a tri-core at 3.2Ghz and gets "hung up" every now and then. PSU needed is only 300w or greater so you shouldn't have any issues there unless your computer is much older. If you're concerned about the size, don't be. It will fit in a mid-tower case (most common PC case size) with ease, however it will run all the way across your mother board and then some. I had to rearrange two of my Hard Disk Drives. Simply make sure you have enough room from one end of your case to the other.
