You really can't go wrong with this card, unless you find a newer with more horsepower at special pricing.

Check out evga website under their various warranty options. TR means a 2-yr warranty...NOT a lifetime warranty.

I bought mine refurbished through computer geeks for $119 plus shipping and some other items. I could have bought locally for $130 refurbished. Which looking back on the deal, I probably should have. Anyway the card I got in the male, came with no instructions, and no driver disk. So I went online and discovered the EVGA forums, and realized I may have a lot of issues after installation, but I had already opend the package and broke the package seal.

Before purchase I knew I had to upgrade my power supply to a minimum of 500w, cause the card calls for a minimum of 450w. So I bought a 500w supply, and after reading the online manual, I discovered I needed at least 24amps on the 12v rail. The 500w supply only could put out 18 amps. So I had to shell out another $100 locally for a 700w cooler master power supply. This video card requires 2-6pin power plugs in the back of the card, straight from the power supply, which was another perk of the 700w cooler master.

After the install. It powered up nicely, with no other problems associated with other people according to the EVGA Forums. I am running a barebone HP P4703W with a AMD quad core. So maybe that is why I didn't have any problems with drivers? It downloaded its own drivers as well. When I registered with EVGA, I also purchased the RMA warranty, which basically if my video card craps out, I send my bad one to them, and while in transit, they send me one of equal value, before receiving mine. As long as I don't modify or tear apart mine.

Aside from having to buy a big and expensive power supply, I am satisfied. It plays Command and Conquer with HDMI at custom full settings for everything perfectly.

On the flip side there is a Geforce 560 ti that was about the same price, and it only required 18A on the 12v rail, so something to think about before you purchase the 460.

Was given one of these cards in January as a gift by my girlfriend to replace the XFX Radeon card that i had for some 3 or so years. It worked great for about 4 months or so and then when i would play music or watch video on my pc whether streaming or otherwise i would get a crackling white noise whenever i scrolled the mouse or switched between programs etc...but i thought this was my sound card playing the fool. Then my PC started to restart for no reason and i more and more frequently got a blue screen of death. Eventually my pc would restart and when it would reboot the resolution would be all messed up and the drivers for the card would have to be re-installed in order for things to go back to normal. I was worried but surely it couldnt be my 4 month old graphics card that was causing problems. Thought it was just a software issue so i downloaded the latest drivers and installed them. Worked fine for like a day or two and then i began to get artifacts and lines all over the screen...I knew i was doomed. I tried to return it but...alas my crappy one month return window was gone and i apparently couldn't return the product to amazon...going to have to try returning it to EVGA and see what happens now.

Don't get me wrong i think that EVGA makes some great cards especially well priced for persons like me who dont want to spend $500 on a card and i intend to step up to the gtx560 or 570 but should i get another product from them that doesn't last the long haul i will seriously have to reconsider spending my money on their products in the future.

Update: Was able to RMA the card with no questions asked or no delays whatsoever. I think EVGA must have THE BEST customer service on the planet. i got at the very least 10 emails from them helping me through the process of exchanging my card. At least there is someone out there who still believes good service = happy customers. KUDOS TO EVGA.

I just replaced my old 8800 GT card for this bad boy, and quite frankly I've found nothing wrong with it. It runs all my games very well, and there is a very noticeable difference between a 512 MB card and a 1 GB card (a good difference). Overall I'm very pleased with it. Installation of it was a breeze, everything went smoothly, and I'm one happy PC gamer. I don't have much else to say about it, so yeah. Nice card, and nice price for what you get. I would highly recommend buying it.

Great product for the price at $200.00 on 11/2010. 460gtx. Only issue, my card showed up under clocked from the advertised spec. I had to use the software to clock the card to highest spec; which was also an under rated spec. The serial numbers matched up from advertised. But at high clocks, the card still idles at 30 CEL and under load with modern warfare 2 or crysis, it hits 50ish CEL. no problems. I'm lucky I know what I'm doing. If you are an average user and have no idea how to over clock or liquid cool a gpu, how would you know you are getting the performance you are buying? So, take my advice and learn about the clocks/software it comes with and tweak away. This card runs way better than my 8800GTX's OCE cards, that just burnt out. Honestly, it does a better job at a cooler rate equal to 2 8800GTX's and out performs 1 8800GTX. I ordered a second card and it's arriving today. I bet two of these in sli will blow the socks off of my old 3 8800GTX's sli setup. Amazon did great, fast shipping, great price, only issue was the factory under clocking which can be re-clocked with the provided software.

Also, Installation was a breeze and the cards is smaller than an 8800 gtx, which makes a BIG deal for anyone with a mid tower. This card is small than a 780i xfx and asus motherboard. the 8800gtx is an inch or two larger. With the 8800 gtx I had to relocate my hard disks/with this card they can go back to their original home!
