This card was huge! When i took it out of the box and saw it was over 10 inches long I couldn't believe it. I am not a heavy gamer even though my game account would say differently I do like playing my games in ultra settings. This card gets the job done. I use the hd skyrim mod and this card works flawlessly. Bioshock Infinite High Settings - Check, Dishonored - Check. Basically any of the 280 games in my steam library it will run on high or ultra. This card works and so far I am not disappointed in the performance of this card. It does get a little loud when the fans spin up, but that isn't very often.

It's quiet and runs very cool. Just be sure to have a power supply with at least 24 Amps on the 12V rail and at least 450W for optimal performance. Runs games great, very high and ultra quality at 1080p. It won't max out a game like Crysis 3, but then again it's only $200.
I have not tried overclocking, and wouldn't. As far as I know, this 660 is pretty much the Superclocked version with the ACX cooler found on the new 700 series GPUs. There's no headroom to overclock, so I wouldn't even bother. It hits around 1200 MHz on the boost clock depending on your GPU, they're all different. I definitely recommend this as it's a solid mid range video card.
Edit: 3/10/2014, I'd like to add that anybody purchasing this GPU should download EVGA Precision X and set your power target at 110% and leave it there. You can tick the box to set it to alter this on each boot or you can open Precision X every time manually. I found that under very heavy load this GPU hits it's power limit fairly easily. This can result in the GPU running lower MHz than it should be. In most games my GPU hits about 1188 MHz as long as there's no limit. These limits are not a bad thing, but you can squeeze extra frames by raising your power target to be sure it hits as high as possible on the frequency. I still stand by NOT overclocking this card, it's about at max possible clock speed from the factory with help from GPU boost. You could memory overclock, no problem, but GPU clock speed overclocking is pointless as even running their GPU stress test makes my GPU downclock to 900 MHz because of the power limit. In games though as I said I'm usually running 1188 MHz, which I'm impressed with.

Had a Evga 650 1gb sc for a while , ( 30-50 fps at 1920x1080 playing COD Ghosts at medium to high settings) , now im getting 55 to 75 fps with high settings , HBAO+ and FXAA . great smooth online playing . Very easy to install, originally fans are set to run at 35% at idle temp ( 30`c) , used Evga`s Precision X software to adjust them to 25% with no change in idle temp at 30`c ( no noise at all now ) Hard gaming brings the temp to 58`c ( a bit cooler than I expected ) and the fans to 55% , little change in noise , nothing to call it loud great buy , good price

This thing works really well for the limited power I had. Have a 460w power supply that came with the dell 8300 xps. This fit right in and has performed as well as I could have hoped for.

I upgraded from the GTX 550 TI, and there is a noticeable performance difference. On BF3 and Planetside II, it plays at excellent frame rates on high to ultra high graphics at 1080p. I put it into a custom built machine utilizing most parts from my Dell XPS 8300. The Dell motherboard, i7 2600, and ddr3 Ram appear to function perfectly with this card. I transplanted all those components into a bigger case because this card was quite cramped in the small (but beautiful) Dell, and I was worried about heat. I also went ahead and upgraded the Dell 460 watt psu, because it probably wouldn't have been enough.
Now I want a new motherboard and another GTX 660 FTW with ACX coolers! To line these bad boys up in SLI will be amazing, especially after I get a 2560x1440 display with gsync!
I will update you all in future if I run into problems.
So my conclusion is, buy this card, unless your budget is bigger than mine. In that case, buy two of them, or an equivalent monster card from EVGA. I've owned three of their cards over five years and never had an issue!
Cheers, and happy gaming!

This graphics card is amazing for it's price. It runs every game I have on 'ultra.' All of my MMO's play amazing with it. I was also surprised that all of my adobe graphics programs also run considerably better with it, as well as my autoCAD refreshment rate. It was well worth the price.

With this card, the size of my forearm, it can conquer every game I throw at it on ultra, from a simple Dota 2, to the nice Crysis 2 Maximum edition and All of Bethesda's Fallout and Elder Scrolls games. I would defiantly recommend this card to ANY sort of gamer, whether the petty Minecraft or the complex Crysis, and everything in between.
