I bought this for my PC because I upgraded my GPU and my old one didn't have any PCIe power connectors. This PSU is running perfectly fine in my build, here are specs for reference:

CPU: AMD FX-4100
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760
Mobo: Very low end Gigabyte board from over 2 years ago.

It powers this all perfectly fine as expected, the only extra stuff I have is the normal two case fans and some LEDs in my case. I would recommend this to somebody who is on a budget for sure.

Can always trust EVGA. I had previously ordered a power supply for my Asus motherboard that did not have the 4 pin motherboard connection. EVGA has everything you need. I popped it in and everything runs perfectly. It's quiet and no issues thus far. I didn't even realize it has a rebate on it. I'll need to take advantage of that soon.

This is a basic build without crossfire and so this power supply will work fine for it's application.

Great Power supply, seems well made and stable. Beware of rebate process. they will find any little thing to decline. EVGA really needs to get there rebate act together there are to many declines by The rebate company, It's a rebate not welfare. Customer's should not have to jump through hoops to get what they have been promised, This will effect any future purchase of EVGA products that I will make.

Good voltage, bad fan.

Pros: The supply turned on and was within voltage spec.

Cons: The cooling fan started to tick within hours of arrival.

Other thoughts:
I am an experienced system builder who has done many builds from humble office computers to gaming rigs.

I gave this EVGA power supply a chance because of their reputation for making quality video cards.

The item tested good when it arrived so I hooded it up. It worked well for a little over an hour and then then cooling fan started to make a ticking noise. I re-orientated the power supply and the noise continued regardless of position. So I boxed it back up and returned it.

Besides the fan it seemed like a quality build. It was reasonably heavy and the wires were of good gauge and length. The connectors were well formed and well labeled. Every manufacturer makes the occasional lemon so don't let my review alone deter you from buying this supply. I posted this so if there is a pattern of bad fans then it will be known.

I will likely replace this with a tried and tested Corsair CX500 supply.

Solved my power supply problem. Easy to install on my elderly I5 ASUS CG5275. The construction appears solid. While the power supply is generally quiet, when the computer is working hard (displaying graphic intensive flash video for long periods as an example), the increase in fan noise from the power supply, while not annoying, is noticeable. I'm satisfied with my purchase.
