I purchased this charger near the end of May to replace the original Asus netbook charger. It was shipped promptly and worked as soon as I plugged it into my computer. I did notice that the pin does not fit snugly and tends to 'spin' some. The length of the cord is not as you would expect with a laptop charger but then again it is a netbook and it was comparable to the original Asus charger.

Five months of use was all I got out of my $30 (then full price at that time). The charger ceased to work and the worst part is the internal cylindrical metal pins that are intended to fit into the 'box' on the charger are loose. They are either attaching themselves on contact and/or falling out.

If you are looking for a temporary fix then this is it. Quality and durability are definitely not this product's strongpoints and I recommend you look for it elsewhere, find a company that will give you at least a year's warranty on it or go back to Asus (if you are truly a glutton for punishment).

This is not worth your money.

WARNING! When the computer power is left on while the power adapter is plugged in, it overheats. This power adapter started to melt and probably would have eventually caught on fire.

It works well enough, but doesn't seat as snugly as the OEM plug. This should not cause any real complaint or difficulty. I point it out only because the price should be different enough from the OEM part to make it worthwhile.

This adapter worked, but the brick was always a bit hotter than one would expect. After 2 months, it just quit. The light just blinks on the power supply. It does not charge the laptop.

Wanted an extra PS for my Asus 1201N (a great little 12'' laptop!) and I got this. It works, and its as small as the original PS. So go get one especially if your lazy like me and want to keep a PS plugged in where you use the laptop the most and keep the other one in your travel bag.

This is the second cord like this we purchased. We have noticed that not any of the similar products has a long life. The mistake we made was not hanging on to the paperwork for the three year warranty (our bad). Either way you can't beat the price of $8.00 new when in the stores they sell for $40.00. Well worth the price warranty and all.

This worked great for the first two months. Now, the box gets so hot that you can't touch it. Of course, the return window closed 2 weeks ago!

My old adapter didn't appear to be charging or the battery was not holding a charge. This charger is a great replacement for the original charger.

These power adapters work great and were reasonably priced! If your netbook isn't charging, there is a good chance your charger is bad.

I received the item in a very timely manner, two days from my memory, the product works well and I got my computer working again. The item was cleanly packaged and overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.
