Of course it's a rehash. All books in this field are. If you want one that is somewhat different, try The Physics of Miracles: Tapping in to the Field of Consciousness Potential How much are these people paid, to write negative reviews? Is this part of the negative suggestion matrix the mass media is creating? I don't care if his degree is in dogcatching. Do his ideas work? They do- if you work from your heart. If you work from your head, as some book reviewers appear to be, you won't get any results. Joe doesn't really tell you that when you put out an intent- if it doesn't work- this is merely feedback to help you identify negative beliefs, and then to clear them. For people as negative as some reviewers, this could take a little while. Another thing Joe could emphasize more is that if your intent is service to others, rather than merely to ego, you will get far better results, degrees of magnitude better. I help a friend, who helps homeless people. He told me he needed some shoes, Size 8, for a homeless man. 2 days later I had a pair, for free. I've done this kind of thing many times. I go to a community dinner, midweek, and take the leftover food to a soup kitchen next to the building I work in. I invariably get at least a duffel bag full, and drop it off. Every week. They are delighted. Yes, you can sum up War and Peace in a playing card. But you miss a lot. The whole point is the anecdotes, which drive home the points. I love the books of Wallace D. WattlesThe Science of Getting Rich, but the English used is a little archaic, for the average person. Matthew Ferry's 8 part series on Manifesting, on YouTube, can also be summoned up on a page, but it is so very entertaining, I watch it from time to time. I read Think and Grow Rich a long time ago. I learned from it. Yes, this book merely restates, however so do the other books. Neville Goddard and Joseph MurphyThe Power of Your Subconscious Mind are so much fun, for me- but they can be a little thick for some readers nowadays. I am personally amazed at all the negativity in some reviewers; this is not something to put out. If you don't like the book, move on. This book is simply written. Shakti Gawain's books are essentially her version of Jose Silva's Silva Method. Both are good. Everybody rewrites. The problem in manifesting, in setting intent, is that the larger goals have more subconscious resistance, which has to be cleared. Most people want it all, right now, aren't willing to work on it, and blame whatever method they're using. My wife's mother manifests brilliantly with nothing more than a quick request of St. Anthony. Most of the commenters don't seem to have found anything else that worked well for them. I know someone in a crummy job, she begged me for help, 2 weeks ago. That's not my job, but she was sincere, and working hard, so I set an intent to find something. I did find something for her, and connected her with those people. She hasn't yet gotten the job, but she's very close. She is extremely appreciative for even the little bit I did. You don't need a lot of material support. Mother Theresa manifested an awful lot, owning just 2 pairs of clothes, and I think a pair of sandals. When I am in a pure state, the manifesting is truly effortless. Google the story of Jumping Mouse, if you want to understand how the manifesting journey works. A woman at work had a baby. I found a car seat, for free, and gave it to her. I really wanted some rubber stamps, of a certain type, and a great number of them showed up at my favorite clearance store, cheap. I set an intent, and without attachment, watch as the path opens up. Say what you will, Joe is laughing all the way to the bank, and yes there is value to his books, for those open to it. For those not open to it, I guess they write negative reviews on Amazon, and otherwise stew in their own juices. May Allah grant you patience, as you will need the patience of an Easterner. You remind me of the story of the student, who begged the guru for the mantra that would release him from all suffering. The guru said, "Ram" [which is a very common Indian name]. The man was furious- his mantra couldn't be that simple. He left in a huff, and found another guru. The other guru had him shovel out stables, and clean out toilets, for several years. After some years, the student went to the teacher, recounted his dedicated service, and asked for his mantra. The new teacher said, "Ram". The student was shocked, and said, "But my last master told me that!" The new master said "well, yes. Of course, you weren't ready to hear it then. How many more toilets do you need to clean, before you are ready to receive?" My brother is good at this, better than I am, for many things. He got a $9000 home entertainment system for $300, by accident, as one example among many. If you need to play, try Matrix Energetics: The Science and Art of Transformation. Walt Woods' Letter to Robin: A mini-course in pendulum dowsing is a pretty good introduction to learning how to communicate with the subconscious mind, which holds all the limiting beliefs. I also like The Future Is Yours: Do Something About It! and ThetaHealing, and even Lost Secrets of Ancient Hawaiian Huna, Volume 1 and Urban Shaman, and I have gotten results from all of them. And I get results from Joe's book. Thanks, Joe. By way, if you call 1 877 TEACHME, you can ask for the free CD Get Well, which they do send with their catalog. That CD is one of the most motivating CD's I've ever heard. Yes, I know a lot of stuff- it's the getting it into action that's the trick, and motivational CD's like Joe's, and Get Well, are very, very helpful. The mass media puts out massive negative suggestions, it takes a bit to overcome this.

I had big expectations when I bought the book. I was disappointed in the fact that Joe is just chewing the same old cud. I've read the same material over and over in his various books. I feel that Joe is pushing the material out as fast as he can to make another buck. His testamonials were helpful, but I noticed that just about everyone had a website which leads me to assume that these people weren't the man on the street.
Dr. Wayne Dyer also puts out inspirational books, but each one of his are on a different topic and well researched.
I've had many miracles in my life and they don't have anything to do with the material in Joe's book. The miracle was spontaneous and unexpected. I didn't ask for the miracle and didn't go through any ritual to get it.
I feel that this book was more on manifestation rather than miracles. This book was truly a waste of my money and time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yes, you can Expect Miracles, November 23, 2008
This review is from: EXPECT MIRACLES (Paperback)
What I love about Vitale's Expect Miracles is that he addresses the issue of why things do not work out. He brings forward the painful things that keep blocking us from good in our lives, such as: past hurts, lack of forgiveness, regrets, and more. Vitale not only brings them forward, but tells you how you can work through and/or around them to see and experience the miracles in your life. Expect Miracles includes new information, as well as, synthesizes some of his earlier works in a very straight-forward, apply-it-now type of methodology. If you are a fan, you will enjoy and experience your efforts at attracting the life you want at a deeper level than before. If you are new to Dr. Joe Vitale's work, you will enjoy the read and move your path of self-development forward.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific Primer for Living a Lovely Life with MIRACLES, December 24, 2008
This review is from: EXPECT MIRACLES (Paperback)
I loved Vitale's previous book "THE ATTRACTOR FACTOR" and found it very helpful and inspiring. And "EXPECT MIRACLES" is another great gem from Joe Vitale.

If you want to live a life of ease and grace, then you should read this book. Everyone can create miracles in their life. We are all creating our life anyway, so why not create some truly fun stuff that we want instead of stuff we don't want!

I can personally testify to our ability to create miracles as I have been creating "stuff" in my life for a long time, without having a name for it, prior to reading any of Vitale's work or others about the law of attraction.

I attracted "getting published" earlier this year and was surprised and delighted to be included in THIS book! (You can read my story on page 99.)

If you are intrigued about the law of attraction and creating miracles in your life, you should read "THE ATTRACTOR FACTOR" and "EXPECT MIRACLES" and Lynn Grabhorn's book Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting: The Astonishing Power of Feelings

I have one caution for you though. If you are not ready to be 100% accountable for your actions and your life and want someone or something outside of yourself to be responsible for YOU, then don't bother with this book.

There are no magic wands and the life we create is our responsibility, but "EXPECT MIRACLES" shows us the tools to create miracles in our life every day. Actually DOING it is up to us!

Dear All,

Excellent book. I bought this book through amazon.com with a delivery schedule around 15th of July 2010. But I received the book at India by 29th of June 2010 itself. Hats off to amazon.com for their excellent service.

The title of the book attracted me to buy. I have gone through the complete book. Excellent stuff. Every page
gives very valid information on programming our mind. Great Author Joe Vitale has filled each and every page with valid information and it is hard to put down the book without completing it and I read it at one stroke.

I do expect miracles every day since I completed reading this book by 7th of July. Every day, some level of miracles is seen in my life.

Very very useful book.

I am lucky enough to read the book--Zero Limits -by the same author. His writings revolutionaise the mind of the

This review is from: EXPECT MIRACLES (Paperback)
Why is it that sometimes life seems unbearable? Why do we fail to feel fulfilled or even happy most of the time? These answers are found by simply living a life full of miracles. And how do we get there? It's not hard, not impossible and certainly not something only the few have access to attaining. Once again, Joe Vitale is the master when it comes to engaging the reader in a discovery of magic. This is a must read for anyone who wishes to really attract magic and miracles and for those who know that true living starts with a journey of being, doing, and having what we want. Thank you Joe for your inspiration in helping mankind finally realize that all miracles are waiting to happen for everyone --all the time. Pick up this book, read it with an urgency, and then get on your knees and sing praises for finally getting the understanding that all of life is the sweetest when miracles are accepted and enjoyed!!!

I have been a fan of Dr. Vitale's since I first saw him in The Secret. I have read The Attractor Factor and Zero Limits. This book, in comparison, is a very quick read, but extremely uplifting nonetheless, as in true Joe Vitale style. Early on in the book, there's an exercise for "getting clear" which I have already revisited a number of times. This book's theme is about "getting clear," which is not new material, but a further explanation of the Law of Attraction. Looking forward to Dr. Vitale's future books!

2.0 out of 5 stars Expect A Miracle Is Definitely No Miracle, December 2, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This audio program has nothing new to offer. It is very reptitous. Joe Vitale mentions "peeling the onion" more times than I can count, as if this is some new, enlightening terminology.

Additionally, the CD is filled with testimonial after testimonial, which are merely people who are promoting their own websites and products. Throw in some rhetoric, add a boat load of self-indulgent, self-promoting testimonials, and you truly must Expect A Miracle for this CD to be worth listening to.

Zero Limits: The Secret Hawaiian System for Wealth, Health, Peace, and More

The Key: The Missing Secret for Attracting Anything You Want

The Attractor Factor: 5 Easy Steps for Creating Wealth (or Anything Else) from the Inside Out

This book Expect Miracles is the culmination of the books you see above. Joe has taken his best works and defined them in a new way with Expect Miracles. He's shown how people have used his advice and changed their lives.

My own personal story is the first example (testimonial) in the book on page 8. I shared that I have used the Law of Attraction to change my own life in ways that I would never have imagined. I also shared that I really didn't "get it" until I read the Attractor Factor by Joe. That book took me step by step into understanding what Napoleon Hill wrote in Think and Grow Rich the first book I read about using the Law of Attraction.

People love to rant and rave about the Law of Attraction and say it doesn't work. But what they are not seeing is that they are not working.

The definition of the Law of Attraction in my opinion should be this... What you think about most happens when you put forth the effort to move in that direction.

What people don't realize is that when they are doing NOTHING they are doing something. So when they sit there and think negatively and mope and moan about their lives and how bad it is.. they continue to get what they've always gotten.. NOTHING because that's what they are doing.

When they start thinking positively and DREAMING again as children do... expecting it all to work out, and then put forth the efforts to get there then and only then will they start seeing their dreams come into fruition.

Have you watched a child that wants something REALLY BAD? They think about it, they look at magazines, go to the store, they beg, plead and talk about it all the time. Every parent knows that they get to the point of being OBNOXIOUS about what they want.

WHY CAN'T WE AS ADULTS DO THE SAME THING?

We know our children end up getting what they want. We see the Law of Attraction working in their favor... why can't we believe it will also work for us?

You do have to work for it. You just don't have to work as hard when you are doing what you love and love what you are doing. You get to chose the path that you want to take in your life.

You can choose to stay negative and unhappy.
You can choose to stay positive and live fulfilling lives.

You can choose to stay the way you are.
You can choose to become all that you were meant to be.

IT'S ALWAYS YOUR CHOICE!

So choose to be great and then get out there and achieve it! Use the testimonials in this book to inspire you in your journey!

5.0 out of 5 stars State-of-the-art Vitale! This stuff works, folks . . ., November 25, 2008
This review is from: EXPECT MIRACLES (Paperback)
Yes, this book not only promises, it delivers MORE than it promises, if you surrender to the limitless possibilities of coming from your own creative center. In this culmination of his writing career (so far, at least!) Joe has clearly & brilliantly brought together all the threads of the magnificent tapestry of his offerings. This book can serve perfectly as an introduction to the man's offerings, or a capstone. Seriously & playfully, in his characteristically clear, direct, entertaining yet potent prose, Joe lays it all out in practical terms. For me, the most cogent point here is not to deliberately MAKE miraculous things to happen (it doesn't work that way!) but to ALLOW miracles to manifest. Focus your intent, only let the Universe handle the details of how. Get clear & release your limiting beliefs. Aware that YOU are the one interfering, you learn to back off & dissolve those blocks. This stuff works, folks! It's what used to be called "Real Magick" with a -k to indicate it's not just stage tricks. Yet there's nothing supernatural about it, on the contrary it's also about aligning yourself with how the flow of energy works in the Universe. Now we realize it's altering consciousness at will so we can continue to grow, learn & evolve through a lifetime of discovery & joy.
