5.0 out of 5 stars This spooky series deserves to be re-released!
Eyes of the Tarot was an excellent book about a girl in high school who realizes she's developing psychic powers. Why is it happening? She soon figures it all out, but has a hell of a time along the way. For instance, when her friend asks for a tarot reading at school, she blacks out and the fun begins. I won't say much more, but I suspect if you're looking for this...

2.0 out of 5 stars I personally think that the book was a waste of time.
In the book The Eyes of the tarot, a woman by the name of Bonnie, finds an ancient pack of cards hidden in the pannel of the wall. This review is from: EYES OF THE TAROT #9 (Dark Forces) (Mass Market Paperback)
Eyes of the Tarot was an excellent book about a girl in high school who realizes she's developing psychic powers. Why is it happening? She soon figures it all out, but has a hell of a time along the way. For instance, when her friend asks for a tarot reading at school, she blacks out and the fun begins. I won't say much more, but I suspect if you're looking for this book, you probably owned it back in the 1980s. This is one of my favorites of the Dark Forces series. I believe it was released around 1983, give or take a year, and as a young child of 8, I was enthralled with this series! I only wish these were available today in my local library - they'd sure give the Goosebumps series a run for its money! This series and the also-loved Twilight series were both the Goosebumps of my day (early to mid 80s) and I would argue that these books are actually MUCH better and more readable as an adult than Goosebumps books are. I find Goosebumps to be quite cheesy, where these books are somewhat more believable and have that classic 70s/80s horror feel that just can't be beat. Between Dark Forces and Twilight, there are at least 80 books that I owned - all of them have a special place in my heart! C'mon, guys... re-release these wonderful series so that kids of today may benefit and be scared senseless! ;)

In the book The Eyes of the tarot, a woman by the name of Bonnie, finds an ancient pack of cards hidden in the pannel of the wall. To her suprise, she finds out that she knows what the symbols on the cards represent. Throughout the course of the book, she is called upon to tell other individuals their future, and becomes completely oblivious to the fact that the cards are telling her that something terrible is going to happen to her family. After she finds out that her family is in danger, she warns them, and protects them from their enevitable fate. However, later she also finds out that she is the next one on the cards, and she knows that there is nothing she can do to save her self from the death that she is about to endure. The reason why I think that the book was a waste of time si because I don't like books like this. However an individual who does enjow books of this nature would most likely enjoy it to the fullest extreme.
