MEASURE, MARK AND CUT DRYWALL WITH JUST ONE TOOL? The EZRip makes cutting drywall extremely simple, and gives you the most precise measurement possible in the shortest amount of time. No more using multiple tools; no more using your thumb as a guide; no more snapping a long chalk line; and no more using a long two-by-four. The EZRip is the most advanced, professional drywall cutting tool. It is 29 inches long, 3.5 inches wide, and weighs only 17 ounces. It features a telescopic design, engineered for super-fast drywall cutting with handy storage for 10 additional drywall blades. The EZRip vastly improves the efficiency of drywall cutting and completely eliminates traditional training time. With EZRip you select the scale that corresponds to the number of inches of wallboard that you wish to cut, or the scale that corresponds to the number of inches of wallboard you wish to leave. Depress the locking button to quickly select the measurement setting. Position EZRip on the drywall panel so that the adjustable block is mounted against one edge of the panel with the wheels positioned on the surface of the panel. EZRip is then drawn along the drywall panel, causing the razor sharp blade to penetrate and rip the dimension selected. Your cut is always clean and accurate whether you are making a single cut or one hundred cuts. The use of EZRip is not strictly reserved for drywall professionals, general contractors, or skilled carpenters; it can also round out the preferred toolbox of the homeowner and "do-it-yourselfer," by aiding in the most ambitious remodeling job. I am continually buying tools to speed up the process of hanging drywall and found this tool almost too good to be true. If you are serious about hanging drywall this tool is a wise investment. I especially like the fact that you can adjust the measurement setting so quickly and get down to business. I've used the tool now for over 4 months and do not have any operational complaints. However, I though that the packaging the tool came in was somewhat misleading because it suggested that you didn't need a utility knife. While the tool does make the long rip cut easy; you still have to finish your cut by snapping the section of drywall away from the cut you made with the tool and then use a utility knife to score along the crease on the back !!

I'm glad I tried the EZRip. It has and still is proving to be a valuable tool along side my drywall stripper. Every drywaller should have both these tools to help their production level.
